I’m watching this video now and I literally struggled with finding the right products for my relaxed hair . And this video came right on time ! I’m noticing a lot of these salon products really do good in my hair. The drug store products really just feel cheap and I don’t have good experiences with them ! I’m going to try these . Great reviews - thanks! I mix and match my regular and luxury products. I’m a longtime fan of the Oribe oil and Kerastase products - thanks to my stylist. I’ve not yet tried the Oribe shampoo and mask or the newer Kerastase products you mentioned - will check them out. The older ones I like are Resistance Bain Therapiste shampoo for very damaged over processed hair and the Discipline Maskeratine Hair Mask. Oribe has a moisturizing cream that I’ve heard good things about and I want to try it - we shall see what the budget allows after my salon appointment in two days - I’m so excited! I’m in Ontario like you and have suffered with my hair these very long 8 months of lockdown. I’ve not self-relaxed in this time, instead, I’ve been doing all I can to manage my hair and it’s been really, really hard with all of my new growth! This will be a very expensive appointment!🤣

I actually dusted off my ghd Styler!! I alternate between that one and the Dyson, mostly. I use the Steampod when I get my hair freshly relaxed as it causes my hair to retain more texture.
I’ve gone back to natural. My relaxed hair began breaking severely. It was doing so well too :( I recall you saying your sister is natural. Does she have a YT channel to follow for natural hair care?

Hi Pink! I would probably try washing every three days with a really gentle shampoo like Keracare Hydrating detangling shampoo. You also could try co-washing. It’s not my favourite, buts it better than the “dirty hair smell”!
Good morning and thanks for the video. I hate the smell of coconut hair products. I have a friend who loves it therefore we do not ride in a car together because I can’t take the scent in an enclosed vehicle. I’d rather run beside the car as she drives.
Hello Dom, I have been following your page for a few months now viewing old and recent videos. I have high prorosity thin texlaxed thick hair. Most utubers have thick strains of hair, I have thin but alot of them. My question is how do I repair heat damaged hair ? which I believe was caused by using a hair steamer that was too hot for my thin high prorosity strains and I stayed under it too long.
@@StyleDomination I have been to a few docs. Even had a biopsy done last month for Sjogens, inconclusive. I just permed with Silk elements for the first time last week, hair still dry. Honestly it makes me want to just cut it off😓
@@07ikkin I'm almost a physician and it reallllly sounds like you have Sjogrens...maybe get a second opinion....and in the meantime clean your diet up boo....autoimmunity comes about when genetics meet the wrong environmental conditions...ex. diet....hopefully it's not sjogren's....
I wanted to ask: do I have to wonder if this is made for a black woman's hair? Are these for any hair tttoe, for example, natural hair or just for relaxed hair? I've been taught black women can't use all hair products. I'm scared they will strip my hair.
I'm sure they work..but yo answer your question they were not made for our hair. I think 1 or 2 products she mentioned in the video were made specifically for our hair though. Not sure if it's for natural or relaxed
I'm natural and I use Kerastase. It WORKS! As a matter of fact it works better than stuff marketed for black women. Try the Magistral shampoo and mask or the Chronologiste mask. You will love it!

You might try the Sun Bum Revitalizing conditioner....it's my favorite for frequent swimming!

What relaxer brand do you use? I feel like my dry hair problems might be due to underlying issues. I also have dry mouth and dry eyes. Terrible
