There definitely are! This song always brings me a variety of emotions, usually incredibly happy memories of times spent with friends I barely see anymore. I still go these islands every year, and see some new faces and some old ones. That’s what makes this song incredible. It’s true to life. Bomba’s Shack was one place where I had so many fun nights, but it is gone now. Irma destroyed it. Soggy Dollar and the other mainstays are still there though.

I read Kenny's story about why he made this CD. It really touched me as I no longer live there anymore either......THANKS KENNY!!!!

I listen to this song at least once a day, if not more... It makes me think of my best friend of 32+ yrs who passed away Christmas Day 2017. We grew up together, we were roommates for 4 yrs and to top it off, we met our wives at the exact same moment in time! So whenever I see that bar that we frequented in the early-mid 90's, it makes me happy and it makes me sad...

I fill you in this song. I moved to key west and had the time of my life made a fam. Then I moved backed to lake Charles Louisiana when the hurricane hit. I didn't know no body felt lik a stranger In my own town . So I went back to key west and the only thing that was the same was the bar. I love Kenny Chesney's song's and his music videos
I am a sailor and love to see him on his sailboat or whos ever it is. LOL
I love this man. He is set apart from all others of the genre'. I love it when he sings those songs of life while a huge part of me wishes I were his friend. From the time I snuck into the concert venue in Ft. Worth back in the late 90's to hear Kenny warm up for the night's concert, I was a fan. We got to do that for about 20 minutes before being thrown out but it was worth every minute. I wish I could remember the name of that place. Now when the radio is on in the car, I wait for Kenny. Love you man!

This song along with Anything But Mine are two of Kenny's greatest songs in my honest opinion. Both take me back in time to the years I spent in Daytona Beach with my best friends. Hell, he even says it in the song: "I see a kid coming into his own- and a man learning to move on. Somehow trying to find his way, a dreamer betting on blind faith- chasing that sun and following his heart". Some of my most defining years as a young man were spent on the coast of Ormond, Daytona, and Ponce Inlet. All we could do was hope for the best and chase the light at the end of the tunnel. We all have that bar in our lives, whether it's an actual one or not.
