I am looking to buy Manfrotto MVT502AM Telescopic Twin-Leg Video Tripod but after reading reviews most people say the legs don't stay up even when tight and apart from 4 reviews dated back to 2013/14 said the legs are also flimsy and can not hold much weight. I am using MVT502AM + Manfrotto 520BALL 75mm for holding a 6ft jib so will this tripod be ok as on amazon they say use manfrotto 055 or i could buy könig & meyer kn-tripod100 tripod
+Avidcomp it depends on weight. I would not want a 20+ pound jib with a 20 pound camera on a tilt head. I would check your max load for the head and tripod you are using first.
+Faymusmedia Right. I might be being unrealistic, but I would hope to have the same unit to cope with a light DSLR set up, up to a mid-low weight rig. At the low end, perhaps 2-3lbs, and at the upper end about 10-12lbs. If the construction is solid and smooth, a manual operation would be totally great. LANC controlled ops that work well are already out of my budget. If I could budget for something I would say $500-$1500 range. I look forward to any advice and thoughts you have. Thanks Corey

The Kessler Crane Pocket Jib looks cheap compared to their other models.
