Excellent video! I was wondering why you (and others,) flip the wood when carving? You do this at the 5:40 mark.

Good question. I flip my wood a lot while carving to get the best control on the cut I am trying to make. And sometimes flipping the wood makes it easier to get some cuts as well.

I think the 1”1/2x 1”1/2 is my favorite size to carve at this point.
