John Hopkins I've had the luxury of seeing Phil perform with Brand X, Eric Clapton, PC Big Band, Genesis and his solo tours. To me not seeing him play drums your not seeing the real Phil Collins.
I don't think Phil really has much choice. He's said in interviews that he has nerve damage and can't really play the drums much any more. Given that he's a drummer, I'm sure he would if he is able.
cevadau I certainly agree. It's just sad to see him in this condition. His voice and body has dramatically deteriorated . The fans are not having the opportunity to see the real Phil Collins..
yeah, I don't know if he will tour to Australia, but if he did, I don't know if I would want to see him, given I've seen him twice already (But seriously tour and Both Sides tour). If Genesis were to re-form and they were to come here, I would go and see them, as sadly, the last time they were here was Invisible Touch tour, and I wasn't really old enough to go :(
Phil u was amazing at the Echo Arena Liverpool

I thought he was going to play drums for at least in the air he was getting electric shock therapy ?
He has problems with one of his legs.
