Well said. Around this time of year when it is the season for making predictions, people seem to default to what they know and predict things as though teams will finish more or less the same on the ladder next year. But the top 8 is rarely the same. There are always a couple of 'surprise' sliders and bolters. With North, they have been down so long that people can't imagine them improving. And early this season, some pundits were a bit cynical about Hawthorn for example. It will be interesting to see how things pan out.
This year will tell just as much about Clarko as it will about NTH he has been known as the coach of coaches, I’ve lost count of premiorships his apprentices or assistants coaches have won since Hawthorns 4 flags, but what I do know is the Hawks had a couple of strong draft hands in a couple of years, where NTH has had to take the long road, I still think that Taru would have been a major piece to add to NTH success
I think Kangas have a lot of potential, they’ve got some great players and I’d love to see them do better. But I think they’ll improve the next year or two but in maybe 3-5 years, they’ll really take off I reckon
What is the expected win-loss of the Board and the Football Department? I've heard that 6 wins is the minimum otherwise they might need to make a change of coach.
If Logue and Comben stay fit North could finish mid ladder. MacDonald should not be picked. Sheezel, Wardlaw, LDU, McKercher, FOS are going to be an elite midfield in 2025. North adding three All Australian premiership players will mean they stop leaking goals late in quarters, and getting run over the top of in the fourth. Luke Parker will add some zip in the front fifty. They are far better placed to win games in 25.
Good analysis

If they finish bottom 4 with 3-4 wins again surely we all have to ask the question… Clarkson might actually be cooked

100% great calls here
This could be the most obvious generic take of 2025. BTW, regurgitated opinions are never "controversial".
Damn Andy goes bang
@@centrehalfbench7 You might come up with something interesting & original...............in 30 years time.
Are you surprised with all the top draft picks they have had for how many years. the club should have been kicked out of AFL a long time ago.
Damien Barratt's girlfriend enters the chat.
Lmao I knew a north fan who prayed they got moved to Tassie
no chance they will climb the ladder lol
