Been rocking the 5RM (multiple band) for a little bit now, it's a def step-up from the older ones including the USB-C charging addition.
I'm enjoying it as well! The USB-C charging port just makes traveling with it alot easier! :)

This Glorified Scanner is NOT A 2-WAY RADIO! Want proof? Here is a response from the Baofeng Support Team as of March 4th, 2024 after my inquiry about the radio I purchased.

Thanks a lot for the information.
The frequency range of the UV-5G Plus is GMRS: 462.5625-467.7250 (RX & TX); VHF 136-173.99 & UHF 400-519.99MHz (RX only).
Due to FCC requirements, please kindly note that the radios we sell now are locked and cannot be unlocked.

In other words, this Baofeng Support Team Representative is stating that the transmitter has either been totally disabled or simply doesn't exist regardless it is suppose to work 462.5625-467.7250 (RX & TX)!!!
