Question, whats a good left handed keyboard? All Ive been able to find is the GK96LX so far.
I personally like the wide format, but wish you didn't letterbox it inside a 16:9 container. if you matched your timeline to this wide aspect ratio, it'd fit ultrawide monitors much better without any difference to standard 16:9 viewers

@@DarrinLin yep fair! ive played around with it in the past, but I end up letterboxing sometimes because of how videos on youtube look when not in fullscreen mode. It ends up looking kinda weird being so shallow up the top of the screen. however, it shouldn't look too weird when doing this split configuration i guess. i'd have to make each side taller i think.

The brass weight seems to be matte finish in the geekhack thread. Is yours mirror finish beacause its a prototype?
probably an old photo. is that the IC or GB thread?
The weights are meant to be mirror finish, I think the first round of protos didn't have the PVD on them yet

ooooo i totally forgot, because i recorded this a while back. i added some thin poron foam pieces to dampen it. and then relubed.

Is the first typing test where you used the opportunity to communicate with the viewer? Because if so that’s such a simple idea that’s completely fantastic. Everyone is going to do this now. Nor does it distract from the actual typing sounds either. Brilliant.

this was so peaceful to watch and listen to, i wish more keyboard reviews were like this. just wanna hear the keyboard, and using the video medium to the fullest with gorgeous shots...love everything about this!
