How bad is the deminishing returns on this game? You have 93% attack bonus total yet only get 78% final. Crit chance total is only 36.4% even though you have a 39%, an 11% and a 43%, so you're not even getting the % chance the cards are advertising in the first place. I hate when games lie to you like this.

Damn thanks for this! I main bunny and decided to invest in the tamer first because it just seemed like it did more consistent higher damage but I’d much prefer to be using the thunder cage esp on bunny so I will give this a try!

Honestly, any Enhancement is better than none, it doesn't show up in the DPS calculator but it should be core on just about every weapon. On this build, I'd probably drop a weak point mod for it since he's already invested so heavily into crit.
@@AcrossTheSea12 they are, but Enhancements are a flat 30% increase in damage based on your firearm atk that can also get a boost from matching a bosses weakness. Uncertain if that damage can crit or is affected by weak point though.

Would be an absolutely insane grind but theoretically, you could grind up another thunder cage to the same point yours is at with polarized slots and such, but polarize that last slot for each element enhancement. Whole other thunder cages for each element and your current setup for non-element lol
You wouldn't care for it's passive on a boss. You can swap out mod card for different elements or you can get 3 extra guns and roll the other 3 elements on the stats.... but that level of min maxing for 1k element isn't really worth it

@@nipsoffortune4780 Every Ultimate weapon actually also comes with a negative stat along with their unique ability that gets reduced by with more upgrades, in Thunder Cage's case using dupes will end up improving its reload speed which would still be helpful for bosses though also still not that important.
It's always the first gun that's the best gun lol. I can't believe most of my friends didn't bother using it until they saw how easy I cleared dense mobs with the AOE.
Tamer was tweaked. Weakpoint damage modifier nerfed to 1.0 but the crit rate and damage have been buffed. Hopped on and my damage was cut down to about 30%
@brettlewis2900 if you build crit, you will have to lean heavily into crit rate. It will not be close to the same damage output as before. It's a 10% base crit rate, so if you add 40%, it will only build it to 14% crit rate.
Crazy you have used 9 crystallization charge things to reset its mastery 9 times and then leveled it back to 40 for the mod socket “polarity”. 9 times. OMG My god. That’s crazy. Impressive stuff yall gamers are nuts.

My highest crit with thunder cage so far is a orange for 300k with only 2 polars and increases max 80 capacity, also less crit damage on your build and more weak point damage, and you will eventually need a dedicated element build that you swap between elements for bossing for late game builds, honestly pretty happy with them allowing you to get this gun early and upgrade it for minimum investment to be helpful on 4 man squads. If your interested though to theory craft I do have a better build with less investment, so..
@@brochador3309 There are a lot of things not covered in this video that make this doable. #1 is elemental weaknesses, not running an elemental enhancement module slot because it doesn't increase tooltip DPS is leaving free damage on the floor, its more damage than any other singular mod will add, particularly against targets that are "very weak" to that element. Enemies and Boss weakpoints also have a damage type weakness to crush/pierce/burst damage depending on the type of weapon you are using. With the right element on the right gun against the right enemy/weakpoint you can easily be doing 4-5x more damage compared to fighting a bad combination. Damage numbers will also be higher on lower level targets with lower defense values.
I will say having an element mod would greatly increase the damage because it is an extra instance of damage that is based on your total damage. So i don't really see the fire rate mod being worth the slot.
You don't want to use Expanded Weapon Charge because of how accuracy bloom works on Thunder Cage. You'll be missing many of those shots with full reticle bloom. Better to maximize reload rate to offset the penalty from Concentration Priority.
my friend is at 493k with only 200% crit multiplier and 39% crit rate. And he still has 3 more levels to go on chill enhancement module it goes to 550k if he equips the ammo blue module

I have something similar whit 3 changes, i use Electric enhancement, instead of Weak poin sight as thundercage beeing a 1x weak point base weapon it's not that good on it, instead of the purple fire rate mod i use the 25% blue one, and the last change i did is instead of extended magazine i put real life fighter for when i use it whit bunny as i i can get real close whit her and menthal focus when i use it on Gley, and as mods on the weapon are crit rate, crit dmg, firearm atk% and electro dmg, i decided im going to make 1 specific weapon of each element, im finishing Enduring Legacy as mi fire dmg weapon, and still thinking what to make for toxic and frost.
Dude i had this gun crafted before i even hit level 30 on bunny. Pretty sure when you do normal bunny quest it procs a quest with the robot dude in albion

he has electric damage as one of the 4 bonuses you get with an ultimate weapon
5 greens, 3 maxed mods, and I'm hitting 62k per bullet, orange damage, 90k headshot orange damage. My DPS is 282k. DPS is always wrong, stop using it! Also when using laboratory, the numbers aren't right either. Drop the bullet dam by 10-20% for accurate numbers.
I haven’t even beat the normal mode yet. Stuck on the devourer colossi. I’ve been hesitant to use my free energy activator on a weapon without knowing what weapon was worth it. Looks like I use it on the thunder cage.
Run it solo, if you haven’t. I was getting frustrated with matchmaking and ran it solo with Bunny and a Tamer. Weapon mods were a max level Fire Rate Up, level 9 Rifling Reinforcement, level 4 Weak Point Sight, level 1 Action and Reaction. Good luck!

Mostly when the boss goes into frenzy mode I can’t kill the three nodes quick enough and he ends up regen all his health and shields so I fail by running out of time. I’ll try the tamer. Lots of people say it’s op and probly will be nerfed so I’ll use it and see.
Go for max shield on Enzo (3 cards max) and cooldown reduction, duration. Makes your 3rd ability very strong and provides a lot of ammo for your 4th ability
I haven't upgraded anything except when required by a quest. I'm running all random weapons til they're maxed out in order to increase my Mastery Rank.

Do the campaign and complete quests they literally throw them at you. If you’re way past that takes no more then a few hours to have one crafting daily. If you cannot manage that become a beta and pay through the game. Lmao..
Pumping up the dps number isn't the best thing to do. My 400k TC is doing far more per bullet dmg without inflating the dps number. Increasing the reload time increasing your cycle time what decreases your dps overall.
Mainly get better characters like Gley, Ajax and Enzo depending on your issue with the boss Gley for dmg, Ajax for suvivability and Enzo for ammo hunger. Match your elements and overall don't give up. Give some meta weapons a try (Maybe don't invest in them too much yet). Remember the Modules like HP, Def and resistances. Stay close to the boss. That's about as much advice as we can give honestly and most importantly don't give up.

This is amazing setup and thanks for the end game tips. I am still at the beginning phase, got 2 thunder cage(TC) through missions, used one to buff the skill of the original TC. I am still sitting the original TC at level 1, should I really save materials and wait till level 100 for enhancement? Also the 4 passives are all low level and rubbish, if I level up the TC, I am still getting the lv1 percentages, how does that work please? Any guides will be super appreciated, thanks in advance!

its definitely not the highest DPS ( thats situational ), but in general its good, if your playing Viessa your better off with less mag and adding chill & snowflake conductor and running the polar set from hard bride, if we are talking sheet dps, most i can get out of it is over 603k

@@tompearson9738 I have done 72 hours with no sleep before. I played with this guy scoobadoo (Thailand Neet) he played 165hours straight finished all hard modes just pretty much making a better build. Man didn’t sleep was on discord since launch. 4got about downtime.
@@tompearson9738 he only needs 2 hours sleep by theory you need 2 rem cycles. His toilet and food is in his flat. He lives 2 mins away from the plaza gets food instantly. Lambea another player went 140 hours straight with sleep
I slapped one on my descendant of choice to start (Lepic). As you need the space for HP and defence as well as building into your skills for the later stages of normal game. once you close in on level 100 is when you should look to improve your guns imo. Your guns can hold up very well with just a few ranked mods for all of the normal game, in hard mode its needed much more. Right now I have an activator and 3 catalysts on my thundercage and the difference is huge for hard mode. iirc you will be given another activator for free after you complete the normal modes
Generally, I recommend focusing descendants over weapons since there are so many different varieties with weapons while the character pretty much stays the same across the board. This makes it easier to design a build for a character over a single weapon. However, Thunder Cage is probably the one gun I would 100% invest in right now since it is just so strong for add clear, damage, and just a great weapon to use one every character. Likes there's almost no reason to not run it for everything
i think it is 39% , 49% of the base crit value that gets added. getting a 100% crit rate would basically be another 20% added to the base 20% of the thundercage (awful confusing desing imo). but dont ask me how they calculate shit "like MP regen 0.089" thats behond my small brain

Does the DPS level go up as the proficiency goes up?. The reason I'm asking is, mine is Prof 22 and the DPS is 306, that's the main reason I haven't been using it.
profiency only affects the module capacity as far as i know . (until you have enough Mastery EXP to already have max slots on a lvl 1/ same goes with releveling descendants) which i believe is rank 20?
I have done the first mission where you supposedly have a 20% drop rate for the crafting component about 50 times now and haven't been able to get the part to drop again. Is there some reason it might not drop? Do I have lower my level or do it on a different descendant?
If I'm understanding you correctly it means that those modules have a polarity(the symbol next to the module cost) that doesn't match the slot they're in. If a module doesn't match the slot, it doubles the cost, whereas it halves it if it matches. You can tell the polarity of the slot by removing the module from it and looking at the symbol in the middle of the slot.
How have you farmed enough for at least 9 catalysts in the time the games been out? Assuming you used some on your descendant as well and they take 7 hours to craft after farming the mats. Guessing you can buy them in the shop or something?
Once a gun hits max proficiency (level 40) you can use a Crystallization catalyst to reset the level in return for being able to assign a new socket type. You do this from the module menu of the weapon/descendent you want to enhance, then additional module settings
@@jeremiahthatcher4940 If you wanted, you could fill your gun/descendant will nothing but M sockets. You can use the same shape as many times as you wish, and any combination of shapes.

Why you have in the passives firearm ATK 12%, i cant get it beyoond 5%
If you use gley with a constant uptime on your infinite ammo. You can use mental focus for a constant 150% firearm atk bonus!!!
150%? Mental Focus gives 0.25% Firearm attack per stack, max 150 stacks.

I've been having good luck with the other 999rpm smg to kill things way above my level with ease, it just needs to reload quite often

The elements is amazing on bosses and overall, it does not show on the dps card so dont pay much attention to that.
I hate that it takes all slots to be fully polarized to fit in all mods.
Cant even switch elements or make different builds like this.

soo double weakpoint damage and no element is stronger then having the right element for the appropriate coloss?
I only used 2 catalysts and my gun is at 430k dps! So you can get way higher than what he's at!
Make sure you add the cost of all the catalysts you used to achieve this
Fun fact with the blue fire rate mod - 25% increased fire rate. Its incorrect its actually 33.33% increase so please remove the purple asap

@@azrulzughairi894 when the reload bar under your reticle start to fill , shoot your grappling hook into the sky. Works after 25 percent of the bar fills

Ryechews (Math dude) said fire rate is 2nd most important mod after Rifling Reinforcement. Any adjustments for that that would make the build stronger for a Thunder Cage?

he has electric damage as one of the 4 bonuses you get with an ultimate weapon

5 greens, 3 maxed mods, and I'm hitting 62k per bullet, orange damage, 90k headshot orange damage. My DPS is 282k. DPS is always wrong, stop using it! Also when using laboratory, the numbers aren't right either. Drop the bullet dam by 10-20% for accurate numbers.
I haven’t even beat the normal mode yet. Stuck on the devourer colossi. I’ve been hesitant to use my free energy activator on a weapon without knowing what weapon was worth it. Looks like I use it on the thunder cage.
Run it solo, if you haven’t. I was getting frustrated with matchmaking and ran it solo with Bunny and a Tamer.
Weapon mods were a max level Fire Rate Up, level 9 Rifling Reinforcement, level 4 Weak Point Sight, level 1 Action and Reaction.

@@Chris-wu2hc I’m not really having problems surviving. Mostly when the boss goes into frenzy mode I can’t kill the three nodes quick enough and he ends up regen all his health and shields so I fail by running out of time. I’ll try the tamer. Lots of people say it’s op and probly will be nerfed so I’ll use it and see.

Whats your enzo and other gun builds
Go for max shield on Enzo (3 cards max) and cooldown reduction, duration. Makes your 3rd ability very strong and provides a lot of ammo for your 4th ability
i noticed you have alot of cc applied to your thunder cage, may i ask where you farmed to get the weapon proficiency levels in between?
takes 1 hour to get 1-40 in spec ops defend missions

How do you get the base dmg to be 100k+? Mine is level 100 but only at a little over 85k base dmg
I haven't upgraded anything except when required by a quest. I'm running all random weapons til they're maxed out in order to increase my Mastery Rank.

If you’re talking about the unique ability enhancement, you need another thunder cage to improve the thunder cage’s unique ability.
@@gt800 no I know I did that already but I never leveled it up yet it’s still level 1 and says that I don’t have any weapons that meet the conditions. Do I maybe need to enhance another weapon and then I’ll be able to use that to enhance the thunder cage? I’m level 40 and beat the story already don’t know what I’m missing?
@@ESTalesTyrone oh, interesting. All it should take to enhance is another weapon and a precision phase exchanger.
But that is not the highest DPS build you can have on that weapon.. It is a good build, but not the highest DPS as the title claims.

Go to the shop, buy them - that's how.
Do the campaign and complete quests they literally throw them at you.
If you’re way past that takes no more then a few hours to have one crafting daily.
If you cannot manage that become a beta and pay through the game. Lmao..

Pumping up the dps number isn't the best thing to do. My 400k TC is doing far more per bullet dmg without inflating the dps number. Increasing the reload time increasing your cycle time what decreases your dps overall.
thunder cage without fire rate maxed out is not a thunder cage
I am using tamer with normal Damage, firerate, critrate, critdmg and the best part is 3 mods with elemental dmg which surprisingly doubled my damage
Hey question for you, mines 571k DPS 56.5 crit rate 203 crit damage and it don’t crit for more than 70k what am I doing wrong

Mainly get better characters like Gley, Ajax and Enzo depending on your issue with the boss Gley for dmg, Ajax for suvivability and Enzo for ammo hunger. Match your elements and overall don't give up. Give some meta weapons a try (Maybe don't invest in them too much yet). Remember the Modules like HP, Def and resistances. Stay close to the boss. That's about as much advice as we can give honestly and most importantly don't give up.

I am still at the beginning phase, got 2 thunder cage(TC) through missions, used one to buff the skill of the original TC.
I am still sitting the original TC at level 1, should I really save materials and wait till level 100 for enhancement? Also the 4 passives are all low level and rubbish, if I level up the TC, I am still getting the lv1 percentages, how does that work please? Any guides will be super appreciated, thanks in advance!
yes save your materials until you get a level 100 weapon because everything you find will be better than your tc until late game

@@exo4tic698 better insight green, rifling ench green, reload insight green, fire rate up, better concentration, action and reaction, fatal critical. You also need good rolls and an energy activator.
its definitely not the highest DPS ( thats situational ), but in general its good, if your playing Viessa your better off with less mag and adding chill & snowflake conductor and running the polar set from hard bride, if we are talking sheet dps, most i can get out of it is over 603k

@@tompearson9738 I have done 72 hours with no sleep before. I played with this guy scoobadoo (Thailand Neet) he played 165hours straight finished all hard modes just pretty much making a better build. Man didn’t sleep was on discord since launch. 4got about downtime.
@@tompearson9738 he only needs 2 hours sleep by theory you need 2 rem cycles. His toilet and food is in his flat. He lives 2 mins away from the plaza gets food instantly. Lambea another player went 140 hours straight with sleep

I slapped one on my descendant of choice to start (Lepic). As you need the space for HP and defence as well as building into your skills for the later stages of normal game. once you close in on level 100 is when you should look to improve your guns imo.
Your guns can hold up very well with just a few ranked mods for all of the normal game, in hard mode its needed much more.
Right now I have an activator and 3 catalysts on my thundercage and the difference is huge for hard mode. iirc you will be given another activator for free after you complete the normal modes
Generally, I recommend focusing descendants over weapons since there are so many different varieties with weapons while the character pretty much stays the same across the board. This makes it easier to design a build for a character over a single weapon. However, Thunder Cage is probably the one gun I would 100% invest in right now since it is just so strong for add clear, damage, and just a great weapon to use one every character. Likes there's almost no reason to not run it for everything
Where can i find edging shot general rounds mod?
probably a stupid question here, but how can the weapon only have 36 % crit rate if you have +39 % with better insight and +49 % with edging shot?
i think it is 39% , 49% of the base crit value that gets added. getting a 100% crit rate would basically be another 20% added to the base 20% of the thundercage (awful confusing desing imo). but dont ask me how they calculate shit "like MP regen 0.089" thats behond my small brain

Does the DPS level go up as the proficiency goes up?. The reason I'm asking is, mine is Prof 22 and the DPS is 306, that's the main reason I haven't been using it.
You can upgrade your weapon dps with another weapon for really cheap in albion

Yeah all ultimate weapons start at level 1, so you’d need to infuse it with a higher level weapon you already have to get the better DPS
profiency only affects the module capacity as far as i know . (until you have enough Mastery EXP to already have max slots on a lvl 1/ same goes with releveling descendants) which i believe is rank 20?
When farming for the parts for the gun can u get 4 of each part then craft or do you have to craft 1 gun then farm 1 set of parts and craft again?
You can get multiple of each, it's how I did it. Can only craft 1 at a time though.
I have done the first mission where you supposedly have a 20% drop rate for the crafting component about 50 times now and haven't been able to get the part to drop again. Is there some reason it might not drop? Do I have lower my level or do it on a different descendant?

Up your module capacity or use cryst catalysts
If I'm understanding you correctly it means that those modules have a polarity(the symbol next to the module cost) that doesn't match the slot they're in. If a module doesn't match the slot, it doubles the cost, whereas it halves it if it matches. You can tell the polarity of the slot by removing the module from it and looking at the symbol in the middle of the slot.

How have you farmed enough for at least 9 catalysts in the time the games been out? Assuming you used some on your descendant as well and they take 7 hours to craft after farming the mats. Guessing you can buy them in the shop or something?

Once a gun hits max proficiency (level 40) you can use a Crystallization catalyst to reset the level in return for being able to assign a new socket type. You do this from the module menu of the weapon/descendent you want to enhance, then additional module settings
