You cant have wireless coms at that depth - you would need an umbilical - umbilicals get snagged so they are a safety hazard.
BUT - you can have a comms-only fibre optic umbilical that has an explosive decoupler so if it gets snagged you blow the umbilical and return to the surface -BUT its money, it makes every dive more complicated as you have to wind in the umbilical as they rise back up, it can get damaged recovering in rough seas.
A PROFESSIONAL operation would have one, a professional operations would have a backup ROV to assist and a professional operations would have a controller made of space grade engineering with 2 levels of redundancy

NASA and Navy have been working on these things with many other companies for many decades. There is an indoor ocean with the navy most of these have been tested on. Not this one. Rich people putting themselves in danger with no back up plan + selling their story to the people paying to rescue them ....that sounds about right

People should pay atleast afterwards, just like restaurants, not before, very wrong on so many levels, this is testing phase as I understand, no safety, nothing, no navigation system, to be able to locate people incase an accident happen, hope a miracle happens for them ooo

Hopefully God turns the heat up down there so they don't freeze. It be super good if he could give them extra air. Or hell, bring them up Himself. Maybe God is praying YOU'LL do something, how rich would that irony be?

In every exploration like these, there should be maintained an upper support tracking down the actual coordinates of the vessel underneath!

  • @followveganismforahealthyl2790

Hope people put an end to such explorations, we don’t want to see this happen again ,and again and again . Now whatever happened to their families ….. The biggest victory for anybody is to survive today and live to tell a story tomorrow.
