MapleStory: Monster Collection Explained

Monster collection is one of the most important systems in maplestory gms to get free reward points. except reward pts aka mileage in maplesea is worthless since there's nothing worth buying in the mileage shop they've removed the slot expansions and all the good stuff from the shop and the only thing that's worth buying now is water of life(if u have a timed pet) and 3x red cubes.

That sucks. Unfortunately for MSEA. In GMS, we still have black/reds and a bunch of other goodies (like protection scrolls).

Have you personally tried collecting Lucid's row? I don't find it to be relatively easy at all

Not actively. It's more of a luck thing. It shouldn't be too hard since you can attempt lucid 3x a day so you can collect the mobs easily. Lucid herself might be slightly challenging.

Tip #3 isn't going to be as helpful after Oct. 2022. They're removing the Wild Totems.

yea but how do you "collect" the monsters? you just about covered every part except that? I am a new Mapler and I haven't played since the 2000s. Is there a requirement for it to count as "collected"

Oh that's very simple. You literally just kill the monster. Some monsters take very little of kills and others take a lot. It's RNG
