That's great to hear! I even found some discount when buying the railcard. It’s always good to look out for deals that can make travel more affordable.
with a week travelcard you pay upfront and it lasts a full 7 days, with PAYG you travel and it takes off single journeys until you hit a day or week cap. Generally PAYG is better if you're not 100% sure how much you'll be travelling because if you don't spend enough in single and day caps to hit the week cap you pay less
Thanks for your video, was really helpful. One thing I do wanna ask is that I just moved into the UK and am having trouble moving about. Which card will you recommend for travel around the UK on all public transport as well cheaper and value for money? cus I live in Walsall and I travel a lot. Thanks
Hi Asika. I appreciate your video. Haven't been in the UK for a very long time, on my way back this week. I'm trying to get from Elgin or Forres Scotland to an event in London at 7pm, October 13. Good idea for a new video?
*How much will it cost me to travel on public trains and buses if I want to stay in London for 5 days and if I want to visit Hyde Park, 10 Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, Oxford and Cambridge Universities, all free museums, Oxford Circus, South Hall(Desi neighborhood), Clock Tower, Madam Tassau Museum, etc?*
Hi Ashika, If I buy BritRail M pass (which is valid to travel in all rail network of England Whales and Scotland, but not in Tube, Overhround and Bus coaches). Can I use this to travel between Euston and Watford Junction train which is - West Midlands RailwayMilton Keynes Central? I am not able to understand if this route will come under tube/overground or the rail network which is covered in BritRail Pass. Also I am planning a day trip to Edinburgh from London. So does all the trains between Kings Cross stations and Edinburgh will be covered in my Britrail Pass or not?
I have to say that the UK is a place that everyone must visit in their lifetime. The rich cultural heritage, diverse society and scenic views are all worth knowing about! For tourist and person who live here, the travel fee is really insane… I have been there like 5 years and I really recommend the app I found that has discount on every journey! Tell me if u need it, I'll share!

Hi Ashika, which mode of travel card (either oyster or rail card) should be used if we have to travel in bus/tube daily for job purposes and change different buses?
Hey there Ashika, hope you're doing well. I recently saw your video with regards to the probable visa updates which might affect the psw duration for students. I'm aspiring to come in for this fall intake. I understand it'd be wrong of me to ask you this, but how much of a chance do you think of this actually happening, since everyone right from the universities and the education board are not too hot on this proposal, and even if it does end up happening will it be applicable to me, since I'm not aware on how the parliamentary sessions are scheduled in the UK. Honestly I'm really worried about how things are shaping up, as you very rightly said in the video 6 months is too short a time to make good on getting a decent job and start paying up on dues. I'd really appreciate your take on the matter. Thanks :)
Hi Richard, unfortunately there is no word since then. The Education Secretary is pushing back but there is no update on a decision or by when they would expect to take it.
Hello. Thank you for your video. It’s really helpful. May I know if contactless debit cards issued outside of the UK like HSBC Debit Visa Card works as payment method for tube train or bus? Thank you!
Yes and Apple Pay is convenient. You can also use some app to buy tickets because it always has some discount. Like trainpal I heard recently, if someone need the discount code, tell me, I will share, for free
Golden rule of screening useful videos. Do not open a video that is more than 5 minutes. Even if you do close it if the introduction is longer than one minute. Save your precious time. Save your precious data.

Hi Ashika! For a stay of 5 days in London, is it better to charge the Oyster with a 7 days Travel Card or is it better to pay as you go?

You can walk the 1.2 miles to school easily assuming you are fit and healthy. Personally I would jump on y bike and cycle.
Ahh, I can. But dragging a 5yr old along in the snow or the rain is not ideal.
Let me know what you’re shopping for; I often come across exclusive discounts and can pass the info along.
