That's great to hear! I even found some discount when buying the railcard. It’s always good to look out for deals that can make travel more affordable.
I found a discount on trainpal.
Great video, as usual.
Dear Aashika, you've prepared so far the best video in tge UA-cam, related to the transportation in the UK. Thanks.
Thank you so much Besim.

Hi Asika. I appreciate your video. Haven't been in the UK for a very long time, on my way back this week. I'm trying to get from Elgin or Forres Scotland to an event in London at 7pm, October 13. Good idea for a new video?
Also the railcards are legit money savers! Even found a discount code that saved me extra money when buying mine. Super student-friendly, tbh!
I'm aware of a great discount too!
thanks for your information, I wanted to know the best way to get from London to derby, so many options, not sure what is best.?
Helpful vedio!!That may save a lot when travelling! And I saw other more cost-effective ways to buy with a 5% off discount!
Same! It’s always good to look out for deal that can make travel more affordable!

I also found a way to get cheaper tickets, do you know another way? please share.
Another tips for saving money on the transport is that you can Railcard to get cheaper train tickets. It works for tickets all across Europe!
That’s right! Railcard save me a lot of money! and I found some promotion codes for buy it! Save me more😂
Hi..I need ur help..wanted to know wheather oyster travel card works on thameslink line also???I am planning to stay in ibis Bromley centre..Wat is the shortest and cheapest way to roam around London?
Thank you great sharing. btw, I found a cheaper way to get uk train ticket.
Hey, thank you for this elaborate video. What is the difference between a travel card and an oyster card?
She explains travel card at around 16:00. And then explains oyster card.
Hi Ashika! For a stay of 5 days in London, is it better to charge the Oyster with a 7 days Travel Card or is it better to pay as you go?
with a week travelcard you pay upfront and it lasts a full 7 days, with PAYG you travel and it takes off single journeys until you hit a day or week cap. Generally PAYG is better if you're not 100% sure how much you'll be travelling because if you don't spend enough in single and day caps to hit the week cap you pay less
Hi
I got travelcard for zone 3(Balham) -6 (Uxbridge)I got charged for 1-2 zone because I travel through which is alright?
Because I am just travel through not get of in 1-2 ?
Hi Ashika, which mode of travel card (either oyster or rail card) should be used if we have to travel in bus/tube daily for job purposes and change different buses?
Railcard can be used in different cities in UK, if you plan to go somewhere else, you can buy one. They have also had preferential railway activities recently.
Railcard is amazingly convenient🎉 Plus the Railcard used in UK now has a discount😂
*How much will it cost me to travel on public trains and buses if I want to stay in London for 5 days and if I want to visit Hyde Park, 10 Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, Oxford and Cambridge Universities, all free museums, Oxford Circus, South Hall(Desi neighborhood), Clock Tower, Madam Tassau Museum, etc?*
Hi Ashika, thank you for the detailed information. Forex card or Oyster Card ? For 7 days Tour ?
oyster card can be issued for 1 day or for forever and you just have to top up any amount you want.
@@aqibtariq8638 Thanks dear.. so in your opinion Oyster is better than Forex. Taking a note !👍🙏
Hey there Ashika, hope you're doing well. I recently saw your video with regards to the probable visa updates which might affect the psw duration for students. I'm aspiring to come in for this fall intake. I understand it'd be wrong of me to ask you this, but how much of a chance do you think of this actually happening, since everyone right from the universities and the education board are not too hot on this proposal, and even if it does end up happening will it be applicable to me, since I'm not aware on how the parliamentary sessions are scheduled in the UK. Honestly I'm really worried about how things are shaping up, as you very rightly said in the video 6 months is too short a time to make good on getting a decent job and start paying up on dues. I'd really appreciate your take on the matter. Thanks :)
Hi Richard, unfortunately there is no word since then. The Education Secretary is pushing back but there is no update on a decision or by when they would expect to take it.
@@AbsolutelyAshika Thanks for letting me know, appreciate it and everything else you're doing for everyone of us 🙏🏻
Thanks for the video. Question- TFL. Transport for London. But what does that actually mean and why is it important to know?
Because transportation costs in the UK are more expensive, it's better to buy a card. But the traveler's stay time is short, which is not cost-effective. If you want to go to other cities in the UK by train, there happens to be an event recently.
Transport in London is super expensive, but I can tell you how to save money on it if you want to travel to London 😂
I have to say that the UK is a place that everyone must visit in their lifetime. The rich cultural heritage, diverse society and scenic views are all worth knowing about! For tourist and person who live here, the travel fee is really insane… I have been there like 5 years and I really recommend the app I found that has discount on every journey! Tell me if u need it, I'll share!
That’s nice to hear!
Hello. Thank you for your video. It’s really helpful. May I know if contactless debit cards issued outside of the UK like HSBC Debit Visa Card works as payment method for tube train or bus? Thank you!
Yes it does
They can all be used, and remember to use discounts.
Yep you can use the apple pay when travelling by tube or bus. But it quite expensive
Can, but the handling fees usually break u😮😮😮
Yes and Apple Pay is convenient. You can also use some app to buy tickets because it always has some discount. Like trainpal I heard recently, if someone need the discount code, tell me, I will share, for free
Hey there Ashika how've you been? Ashika today I can say with confidence that any of your subscriber will never face at least any major problem in London because you have already equipped us with a bunch of useful information about London, minor problems are a normal routine of life, you are very nice Ashika 🙂👍
Thank you so much for the kind words Sameer!
Yesss! That is very elaborate👍 Plus the Railcard used in UK now has a discount😮
If i take axis forex card.whether can i use it for bus ,train ,cab etc.its a short trip for cruise.or which is better.pls
U can buy a railcard for UK travel, and I also know a cheaper way to purchase😎
I think it is necessary to make a strategy in advance to find some railway discounts. After all, the transportation cost in the UK is very high.
I agree with you. Actually I know a way to get cheaper tickets…
Yep that’s ture
Deeply agreed👍👍👍 have the same opinion when first arrived😱 thanks to trainpal for the huge discount😂
Better for you to give advices about indian kerla as an indian person
I'm sorry I really don't follow.
You can walk the 1.2 miles to school easily assuming you are fit and healthy. Personally I would jump on y bike and cycle.
Ahh, I can. But dragging a 5yr old along in the snow or the rain is not ideal.
Is there any way or scholarship for Syrians who lost everything because of the earthquake so I can come to UK an free way
Hi there, nothing that I'm aware of yet unfortunately.
Mam if a travel with my family how to tap and pay for 2 adults and 2 kids one is infant one is 12yrs
Get Oyster cards, it would be cheaper. Worst scenario, physical tickets.
Let me know what you’re shopping for; I often come across exclusive discounts and can pass the info along.

Ashika, your video quality is quite good, try to make shorter video.
I'll definitely try going ahead. Thank you for the feedback.
Iconic red busses are always full of depressed faces 😊
Hii Dear ma'am replied me please
Hi there, how can I help?
@@AbsolutelyAshika ma'am i have sent Instagram DM and mail also you can see please
Golden rule of screening useful videos. Do not open a video that is more than 5 minutes. Even if you do close it if the introduction is longer than one minute. Save your precious time. Save your precious data.
If only all of us could fit all the information we needed to share in under 5 mins.
It is useful for me And I also want to share a code to buy tickets on TrainPal
Thank you. Actually there is a 5 percent discount that you can apply on trainpal now
