As a 1996 baby, Doylestown was a great town to grow up in during the 2000s. Even though I'm moving to FL, my old stomping grounds will forever have a place in my heart. I grew up in the neighborhood across the street from Aldie Mansion.
Doylestown has it All n Nearby Rte 309 n 611 Both have PLENTY of Restaurants n other Shopping Options,1 of the BEST Places to Live not only in Pa but ALL of the 🇺🇸.....5 Stars !!!!
I grew up in this little town in the 80's and it was beautiful, now having went back to visit just doesn't feel the same. It was better before when it was just one race, now half of warminster and Philly people moved in and ruined it. We didn't need cops before and now every hour a cop has to go solve an issue.

You forgot about the arts festival and bike race on the second weekend in September. Always an amazing weekend

Real Estate taxes are nuts.
You are not wrong. There are certain suburbs that have much higher property taxes and Doylestown is on the higher end.
We'll be visiting some of those places - so much to do there!
