Some tips from a knife only user as well.
Right clicking on the back no matter what, unless it’s Iso, does max damage and is a one shot. For fighting iso, best strategy to to left click on the back once, then right click once the shield is burned. If their back is turned to you, don’t give away your position with the vulnerable ability.
Knife has a max range of 2m. The attack damage actually procs halfway through the animation. That being said, you can time your right click swing just before going in range, then strafe to either side as the animation ends, allowing you to do damage and create some unpredictable movement that can secure a kill.
Bunny hopping is your best friend. Hopping behind your wall makes it difficult for opponents to gauge your position based on sound, and jumping out from behind the wall or through it can be unpredictable. Plus, using an enemy Iso’s wall to do the exact same thing and close distance is a personal favorite of mine.
Ask your teammates, or
choose a smoke agent yourself, and overlap smokes in a choke. Best way to jumpscare/get a timing on people passing through. The overlap also helps dodge flashes.
