Making a Funky Chicken at Wocky Pots

Welcome to our FIRST EVER How-To video! We've reached our goal of 300 subscribers, and, as promised, here's a guide to one of our favorite projects!
MATERIALS: We are using cone 6 stoneware clay, but you can adapt our technique to lots of different sculpting media, like air-hardening clay or polymer clay. In addition to clay, we also use the following:
- scoring tool
- needle tool
- tongue depressor
- white vinegar (30%; usually found near the gardening supplies in stores)
- various texture tools
- clay shaper tool or pencil cap eraser
- bat or other work surface
- small paint brush
- flexible clay rib
There's a photo of the template we used in the video, you can pause it and trace the shapes onto white copy paper or come up with your own interpretations of the forms.
