So glad that you and Domo got to experience this masterpiece of a fanmade prequel to Undertale, and also glad you did all three endings aswell! (Although you did miss a secret 4th ending, but I'll let you guys find that out on your own!)
If you're referring to either flawed pacifist or the "rope ending", we did see both of those! However, our reactions weren't substantial enough to make it into the final cut. Thank you for enjoying the video!

since you guys were confused and stuff about how souls worked in the original game, every human soul has (lots of) determination, the justice color thing is just about personality and doesnt have any baring on what souls can do, it's just about values the humans have (with frisk's implied to be Hope in UT). the one that can use save point is the one with the most determination in the underground, so it makes sense for cool plot twist that Clover ends up taking it over at the end there from flowey, but in the actual canon Clover would have probably started with it already, and also Flowey was made after "Clover" died. it does make for a great twist in a fangame tho so its ok. Clover at the end killed Asgore and took his soul, on top of doing their messed up idea of justice and revenge, because you need a Boss Monster soul, like Asgore's or Toriel's, and a human soul to bypass the barrier. so Clover now has Asgore inside their head like Chara was in Asriel (and also Frisk) KH-style for the rest of time which is kinda funny lmao
Technically we don’t even know if the red heart belongs to Frisk. The determination is implied to be the player’s, and the red attribute could be the player, Frisk, or Chara. Or a mix of either.
Clover can’t take over saving from Flowey since Flowey has the most determination, which surpasses a human. Flowey wasn’t made after Clover died, since Clover came after Alphys started the experiments. There was never a specified time for any of the humans to fall in. The game decided to make Clover come after the experiments so they can save with Flowey. Every other human lacked the determination necessary.
The game follows the rules of Undertale. You’re mixing your own ideas in there without considering Undertale’s established lore.
@@ma.2089 @ma.2089 Undertale doesn't do any "player is an active part of the plot" like deltarune does, and if it does retroactively, there isn't anything as concrete as deltarune to know that for sure, since it's hard and blurry since Chara is also an active partecipant.
Alphys, if I recall correctly, mentions having taken 6 human souls from Asgore in her logs before Flowey was made. Flowey doesn't mention ever meeting another human either that would shake up his runs either, he is stuck with the same boring monsters over and over. There are a lot of other soft evidence spread all over the game that give Flowey being made after the 6 souls a lot more solid grounds than the opposite. Also, Toby confirmed all the kids died to Asgore directly too unlike what happens in the fangame. But these small inconsistencies are nothing important, the fangame is still really good. My major complaint is something else entirely actually
All previous fallen kids had the save reset ability. Besides Flowey using their files in the omega battle showing they had them, Toriel mentions that she had deja Vu instances with the other kids like she does with Frisk if they resets and repeat the butterscotch question.
Why does this game look better than Undertale?
