Little Update for non-Americans: Depending on the keyboard layout, you might need to use \BACKSLASH\ instead of ,comma, to specify ranges to be placed horizontally to each other. I was clawing my eyes out for a couple hours wondering why this guide just didn´t work for me, until this link gave me the answer to my issue: infoinspired.com/google-docs/spreadsheet/use-curly-brackets-to-create-arrays-in-google-sheets/

You don't need VBA to do this in Excel.
