How are they “defending” the predator? Unless you don’t know what “defending” means. They’re questioning the investigation done, or want to get an idea of what’s going on.
They had to basically BEG the officer to investigate the pastor and do his job, like seriously, a little girl was assaulted, and they have the person that just admitted to it RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM, with evidence. Instead the cop starts hounding on them for "pretending to be police." How often do the police always ask the community to help in finding criminals like this because they can't be everywhere at once, and to always report crimes to the police. It can't go both ways, and people are tired of the amount of disgusting criminals there are in the world in a world where taking advantage of children/people and committing crime has almost never been easier.

“she was 8 she probably wouldn’t remember it” i was 6 when a male family member started assaulting me. i remember every detail and moment, which has lead to a lifetime of depression and getting into abusive relationships because of my self esteem from the abuse and trauma. thank you for clarifying kids can remember so young, so many people don’t realize no matter the age the trauma lasts forever.
@swmcld77 my guess is something happened to him as a kid and he has repressed it so far that he doesn't even remember his childhood anymore and so he thinks it's normal for people not to remember theirs. I don't remember much before I was like 15 or 16 because of head injuries but my wife whose brain is intact remembers all the way back to just before she turned 3 so kids can really remember more than a lot of people think.

I lost it multiple times in this video but what got me the most was “she won’t even remember being 8 or 9.” This was horrific. I was abused by a family member my entire childhood until I was 12 years old. And I remember the first time it happened, at 4, the very last and every time in between. It lead to selective mutism and to multiple people doing the same thing my entire life. Since then, I’m still in and out of therapy. The damage left on us survivors is no joke and never-ending. Thank you for doing what you do, but I can’t finish this one. I normally like to see you catching these preds in your content but this waste of air and human resources infuriates me to no end. He is a POS and thank god at the very least this girl is hopefully getting the justice so many of us will never get.

Child enticement charges can be brought against an individual who simply believed they were talking to a minor online, even when the person on the other end of the conversation turns out to be an undercover agent posing as an underage person. This charge is often accompanied with other charges like Sexual Abuse, sexual exploitation of a minor, etc. The predator can also be charged with conspiracy. But if you pay attention to the video, Alex CLEARLY states TWICE that he knows why the local PD can't use the chat logs. The decoys are in other states, local PD doesn't have that power. State or Federal would have to prosecute at that level. But the other allegations was stated to have happened in Tennessee. If it happened in knoxville, the local PD can do something. The local PD can start a case, prosecute what they have jurisdiction over, and forward chat logs to the state or federal level and go from there. And because you were wrong in your statement, I'll add that the use of the federal mail system, including any facility or means of foreign commerce (such as internet communications via electronic devices, network servers, chat rooms, online gaming platforms, and social media) to entice a minor is a federal crime. As far as your statement about intent...Intent only helps prove the case, such as the predator showing up to the house after a sexually charged conversation or the predator bringing a requested item (condoms, candy, food), in which shows intent and removes all doubt that they are the ones communicating with the minor. I lost it multiple times in this video but what got me the most was “she won’t even remember being 8 or 9.” This was horrific. I was abused by a family member my entire childhood until I was 12 years old. And I remember the first time it happened, at 4, the very last and every time in between. It lead to selective mutism and to multiple people doing the same thing my entire life. Since then, I’m still in and out of therapy. The damage left on us survivors is no joke and never-ending. State or Federal would have to prosecute at that level. But the other allegations was stated to have happened in Tennessee. If it happened in knoxville, the local PD can do something. The local PD can start a case, prosecute what they have jurisdiction over, and forward chat logs to the state or federal level and go from there.
