Great video - I find there's something about Balance / an equilibrium in this- I found myself moving through 2 poles of the spectrum with this. Surrendering at first felt like fatalism; passive acceptance - and self love well.. we need to internalise ourself through affirmations ' I'm good enough' otherwise we believe we cannot do things or the qualities we have. It's a fine balance between Striving & Surrender. It's abit like living on Earth; there's element of detachment from the Dunya but also a beauty and gratitude in it which we can be grateful for; how earth has been exactly made for human beings; gravity, water, air, food, connection to other beings; We wouldn't survive on Mars as I've learnt on Retreat; I get a sense of Action and Balance from this video. Love the part of being honoured as humans that's beautiful! Thanks for the gems of wisdom!
It aches my heart to see my siblings make my darling nephews and nieces be self indulgent and void of love of God and His Prophet SallAllahuTa'alaAlaehiWaAlihiWaAs'habihiWasallam in their hearts. We complain about the Western imperialism but its the Muslims themselves that long to be enslaved.
We must care for ourselves because Allah loves His creation...so the goal is to love Allah...Thank you for straithening my mind... May we be guarded to always connect with the prophet Muhammad saw dan Allah swt.🤲
Reminds me of when Allah almighty asked ALL the angels and Iblis to bow to Hadrat Adam (as) and Iblis refused because he believed he was far more superior than a man made of mere clay...He's egoistical belief in himself negated the LOVE he had for His Lord...To surrender to the Will of Almighty would have been to Love Allah almighty and follow Allah (swt)'s command no matter what he's own intellect told him, beyond his own desires but he fell short of true obedience n devotion putting himself before the decree of Allah Azawajal... To accept whatever the tests n trials of this earthly existence brings with acceptance and submission is the only way back to our Lord and He's pleasure...I am at last finding out what it means to surrender oneself to the Will of our Lord Almighty, to be grateful for the good and the bad for both are our teachers equally... Inshallah ta'ala 🤲🌼
You could argue Iblis was the ultimate servant to Allah. When Allah commanded that no one was to be worshipped but Himself, Iblis took this to the extreme by even disobeying Allah when he later commanded bowing to Adam. Either way, he would have gone against Allah's commands.
Salamalaikum Brother. I am a little confused here. I definitely know that our love for our prophet saw should be greater than the love for ourself. The question that arises in me is than are we allowed to do positive self talk in order to love ourselves more through positive affirmations?
