    Finally found a video that explained the sup and inf clearly with just an example but not piling a lot of texts which makes you even more confused.

    Hey.. Why is it an open set and not a closed set? How can I tell when to use open or closed or half closed or half open

      Slim Thanos look up the property of closure. This should help. I don’t know if there exists a half open property... if you’re speaking in terms of the interval bounds being open or closed this can be discerned by evaluation at the edge of bounds given the numerical set definition and given function. Hope this helps!

    Clearly explained thankyou. I was studying functions and this problem where i had to prove if f(x) is positive and has a upper bound and h(x) is bounded then f(x)/h(x) is unbounded. Can you help?

    S := {1 - ((-1)^n)/n : n (“element of ”) N }... for this set i get 2 (check this) as the supremum but how do you put everything in words theoretically
