    On one hand, I couldnt see much over your hands so had to guess a few times and got pretty irate hehe, on the other hand the finished sling looks pretty nice. Was searching for this type of shepherd sling made of paracord and now looking forward to use it, thanks a bunch!

    Thanks for sharing. For some reason I thought you made the paracord from strips of wood from trees. I must have been thinking of a different video. Have been watching for a couple of years. Robert and I always watched this stuff so it’s good. Glad to see Robert doing what he enjoys.

      Thank you so much 🙂 you are right, I did make cordage out of the cambium of a black cottonwood tree and did the same over and under weave as I did here in another video 🙂 I truly appreciate your kind words and support. 🙂 I love having Robert out with me, he definitely gets into learning all this and I love teaching 🙂 Take care and stay awesome!

      @@conniejackson6450 Thank you so very much and it doesn't sound stupid at all. 🙂 That would be an awesome project, one that I think I might make a video about 🙂 I would suggest watching the two first ones listed below first before the one I made the sling in as there are steps of processing the cambium to extend the working life of it. Here are the link 🙂 I hope this helps and it would be awesome to see the finished product once you are done 🙂

    It was a little hard to follow the instructions because your hands often blocked what you were doing but with patience and a bit of trial and error I was able to create a useable sling on my first attempt. Not as nicely shaped as the one shown but quite good for a first try. I really like the way this design creates a nice basket shape to hold the rock or whatever is being thrown and think it’s worth the extra effort. Thank you for a fun and useful project. Goliath, here I cometh!

    Just finished this version of a paracord sling. I believe this version is superior to the "2 loop" versions as the smaller ones don't seem big enough to properly support ammunition of big enough size to be of much use. Going hunting now. Thanks! 😎

    Nice build and tutorual. The only thing i would do different, is try to film from an over the shoulder view. So its being seen from your perspective. This makes it easier for someone to follow the steps you go through. Filming from the opposite view means a person has to do everything backwards to what you are doing and this can get confusing

      @skeledon  5 років тому

      It's one of those things that if everything goes right including your hands are working and everything is working together it's easier at best. So it is difficult but manageable if everything is right, we all have those days where nothing is working for us and when those days happen, the last knot can prove to be impossible lol and of course gets to be frustrating.
