@hottielattie Yea, aside from taking forever the bus ride is part of the fun of Laos. Don't dread it. Laos is a cool place to relax...but honestly there isn't a ton to do. If it's your first time in SEAsia, I'd really recommend northern Thailand over Laos. But if you are going to Laos, make sure you go to the Tham Lo cave...it's easily the coolest thing we did the entire trip.
