@@CJsReelAdventures Hi CJ, just a thought, when I’ve fished in deeper water over a drop off, I’ve used a Polaris pike float, a great float ledger float, I have used it with a large cage feeder with chopped fish bits in. This is not a criticism of your method, just another string to your bow. 👌🎣🎣🎣
Hi, the bail arm is over but the baitrunner is on and set really light. As for the drop back, the line still drops back when a fish picks up the bait/comes towards you so still pulls the line through the alarm just as it would if the bail was open

I use to have a rod pod too but it broke so having to use the bank sticks in the meantime 😂 I’ve only had 1 20lber from a canal, come close a few other times but I’m struggling to get another to be honest.
