They say that the brain does not fully develop until the age of 25. As a 22 year old little lady, my brain has allowed me to romanticize loneliness, yearning, lust and all other wacky emotions shared by those in their 20s. The ironic title of “Sophisticated Lady” is about thinking you own the world while having 5 dollars to your name and the indulgence of living in the unknown. For better or for worse, this EP is dedicated to those who read Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath at a small coffee shop. It is written for those who seem to cry at almost everything and it is for those who are willing to love regardless of being burned in the past. This EP is dedicated to my loving grandparents Betty and Irving who’s love story is to blame for my unwavering belief in love. Thank you so much to my producer Dean Gray for allowing me to grow into the musician I am today. I would not have been able to have created this project without the help of Eric Weiner and The Wild Honey Pie. Your collaboration and friendship means the world!
