Fans love Rock Lee because he is relatable. All the Ninjas who fought against him came to respect him and were forced to acknowledge his power. Rock Lee (along with Guy sensei) might be the most inspirational character in Naruto. Even Naruto, who is himself an incredibly hard worker, is endowed with the chakra of Kurama, but Lee is pure iron determination.

if Naruto had not kurama, then there will be the yellow flash of leaf, I don't think that you don't know why he is named yellow flash. minato killed 1000 shinobis in the war with land of stone. so he will have jutsus form minato , sage justsus(not only sage mode), rasenshuriken , along with wind style jutsu. fact 1 : he only uses wind style with rasen shuriken + sincereness like minato fact 2: his battle iq is more then shikamaru . eg: fight with third raikage

Idk why Rock Lee is just so likeable. He's by far my favourite character in Naruto part 1. His dedication is the best in the series. Most hard worker. And his heart is of pure gold. When someone surpasses him he never gets jealous. He just says. Excellent sasuke San, wow incredible Naruto.

Scary when you think about this, way back in Naruto Shippuden he was doing enough physical exercise no problem, and had Might Guy gassed. SAd what they did to Rock Lee's character though, he became the Vegeta of the series just to show off an enemy's powers or stall for time for a main character to show up.
