Unironically Vault Hunters Season 2 was my favorite Duncan series in a while just cause it was a nice shift to actual videos from edited streams. Even got me to buy a membership
Vault hunters is duncans best Minecraft series this decade in my opinion. It not being streamed is an immediate bonus, the group was great, it never felt like they got bored or stuck, train hunters and most importantly the modpack structure kept them focused.
Flummoxes me when people don't go to the Subscriptions page, or the Following tab etc and go "I never see those I subscribe to / follow!" It's... right there!
@@Pokemark17 some videos just down show, if the alorithm thinks you dont like it anymore it stops showing, so youll have people who still upload that you havent seen from in ages
God I love Duncan. Ever since Tekkit I’ve always watched him. And even when I don’t watch him as much I still come by to check what series he’s doing. Looking forward to Jaffa Factory 2!
I've always been baffled by people always talking about the importance of the bell and the main page. Am I the only person who uses the subscriptions page??
This is so true. I got back into the yogscast after Blood on the clocktower then back into their "ordinary content" and just recently found out about jaffa factory #2 and vault hunters so I'm binging that.
I guess I’m pretty unique in how I use UA-cam. I never click on videos from the home page. I got to my subscription page and watch videos in the order they come out. I guess it’s not as tough since I’m not subbed to many people, but I never miss a video that way 😊
@@FerricWolf No, I rarely use the subscriptions tab, I think most youtubers can attest that most of their views come from the home page or recommended.
I do the same thing, same as I have for the last 15 or so years... I used to get confused every time I heared this conversation about not being shown the videos of channels you're subbed to, it's literally so easy?
The UA-cam and Twitch homepage is somewhere I never dare to tread. I don't want to constantly be fighting with the algorithm. Curating the subs and follower pages just gives piece of mind.
@@RoronoaZoroSensei That's what i use notifications for. if i like the content i'll turn on the bell. I have the homepage favourited so Use that primarily to check or if there's something interesting.
I always forget to look at the Subscriptions tab. The button for it so small and off to the side, and the home page usually has enough stuff that I want to watch to keep me entertained for more than the entire day every day anyway. The consequence to this is now my Subscriptions tab is bloated to the point of almost being useless, because there are so many channels that I've grown out of and you can't unsubscribe from them from the Subscriptions feed: you have to click on their name, wait for their channel page to load, locate and click on the subscribe button, and finally find "unsubscribe" in the little drop-down that opens up... they make feel like a whole process! And you have to do that for _every_ individual channel that you're no longer interested in.
I like the implication that Lewis occasionally checks out other Yogs content, it's very sweet and... well. On brand. Big Chad Guys *was* real fun, though! Perfect lead in to Jaffa Factory 2.
I was actually talking about this exact thing, UA-cam has changed it's not like it used to be in the glory days. Nowadays you have too much brainrot content and it's becoming less and less about the creator and their content type. It used to be good when you would watch someone for them and their content rather than just one of the other. I remember when it used to feel like you were experiencing things for the first time and there was no definitive meta to games or algorithms. The good old days need a comeback.
@@MDG-mykys oh yikes if you sub to 2k channels that feed would be chaos! I like to sub to only the channels I want to watch content of on a very regular basis.

I'ms subbed to around 150-200, maybe more, there's too much really fir me to watch as i also watch streams and just sometimes take a break from youtube, using notifications i can pic and choose.

yeah, totally agree, Duncan's channel is great right now generally and I've been planning on paying him some money too at some point too.
It would have been a masterpiece if the other teams kept playing for longer
I still remember the promise of Turkish Oil Wrestling for when Duncan makes it to 2 million subs
Same
Shame it was with -redacted-

why duncan is the goat
That's what the subscriptions page is for. Home is for new content or for channels where you only watch some of their stuff.
I actually get annoyed when I get vids from people I’m subbed to in my homepage because I’m like if i wanna see this I’ll just go to my sub feed

Funny thing, the ad for the video was for Dunkin Donuts xD
