I just ordered the simple messenger medium size...I would like to agree with your view on the various ways to carry...I have the mini metro and although a great bag the big over the shoulder pad limits the various ways to carry... maybe you can do a follow up on how the simple messenger is holding up?
It has a zippered pocket on the back and it does fit my 14" Macbook but it's a little tight, fine for me but not everyone. The main pocket would fit it no problem. Funny thing the smaller non "MD" version has an inside laptop pocket that actually fits the 14" a little better. But the MD has more inside room.
@@47Hobbies Is that back pocket at least slightly padded? Or just the same exterior material. I'm debating this and the "Mini Metro" + laptop sleeve but I'm not super into the buckle.
