I am a Scorpio and I’m naturally a very secretive person, and I’ve recently had the revelation that I have to be more open and transparent and vulnerable so that I can be more relatable. You said so many things that resonate with me because there are many sides to taking the approach of openness and it’s definitely not black and white. I’m going to go for it with wisdom and let the Universe take care of the rest. That’s the best that I can do. I’m allowing myself to be seen and heard because my story/journey is not mine to keep..there are people who need to know that they are not alone. Thank you for this video. Love and Light to you💖

May May May. Our lovely May. I also loved how you said you want to add to the collective human archive. We need more people who think this way. I can relate to keeping to myself unlike how I used to as the years have gone by, mainly because I wanted to live my life offline for me. However whenever I’ve come back, each time the want for sharing becomes less and less. A lot of it does have to do with how closed people have become over the years. So it makes me reluctant to be as open. I’m also not who I was back then, so that’s ok too. Trying to find my balance. One thing I do know is that I also want to add to the human archives, but i also want to do it for a community of people that resonates with me. I can also relate to the wanting to share with strangers more than people you know or know of you. 💚

Vulnerability is my superpower, and I’d rather use what I’m good at (talking, sharing, honesty) to help and serve instead of trying to someone I’m not.

God this was so helpful. I’m a naturally open person… I’ve been online for many years but I’ve been buying into this, “be more mysterious” ideal and it’s felt so limiting. It’s absolutely rooted in fear and I respect why people choose to live offline, but it hasn’t felt balanced for me. Enjoyed this entire chat, reminded me to stay true to what feels good to me ✨

Love your perspective 💫 definitely as black women it’s got that theme of fear because we especially don’t like to be judged or misunderstood even more so than we already are. Or just feeling like people can take more from us 😩
Thank you for your explanation, and honestly, it makes sense. I think it also matters who you imagine your audience or "circle" to be if it is in real life. People will always find fault and reasons to judge so I can understand the need for someone to want to protect oneself from that, or to choose to stay open for the people who might relate and also benefit positively from the shared openness/vulnerability
I love the internet giving access to see people live different lives than what is around me. Especially for black Woman. I have this issue all the time. I want to share online but it also scared of online.
Me too, I love finding all the different ways that black women exist online
