Since it appears we've sold out our leftover inventory from KS, I'll setup a pre-order page somewhere maybe on the same Shopify page. Those will get lumped in with the next KS print run, unless we get enough pre-orders on their own and will do another print before the KS.
Since its sold out, how can I pre-order or be alerted when its available again? I just bought the digital version to see if I'd enjoy this game and can confirm that I'm loving this game.
I typically put in at least 4 additional hours of work into every room and monster card after the Kickstarter. This was in addition to the 6 or more that I put in for the first edition. The whole project was a gargantuan number of hours over 5 years. Working on a huge project like this and getting such positive feedback for my art is huge feeling of relief. Thank you for all the kind words.
@@RevampedStone To tackle the scope of the project I initially built 3d environments and made rough 3d sculpts in vr for monsters. This way I could get backgrounds, color, and lighting for a large number of characters quicker. That gave it the early clay look. I have a library of textures I overlay. We had debates about it looking too artificial, so some of it was redone in just 2d. I redid the board about 4 times. There was a variety in quality and the project was on hiatus a few times. Coming back to the project I had new skills, tools, a clearer vision, and the art was all there I was just free to focus on refinement.
Great video! Loved the comparisons. The backers were heard and we will continue to listen to what backers want and try to deliver great content for them. We are looking at and working on three expansion now, a Sewer, a Castle and a Campaign. The Sewer and Castle will have new decks of cards and possibly new large dungeon boards. The Campaign would follow a similar story to that in the Digital game with system of quests, travel events and a map/board of the realm.
@@n4tune8 (1) Not sure about the funding platform. If Kickstarter has better methods for collecting shipping/VAT we could stay there. I'm not sure what Gamefound supports. We will need to look into it. (2) I think we should have a way to register for announcements on our website, if not we need to get that ASAP. But we would be making announcements on Dungeon Dive page and BGG, and our previous KS. Marketing has kinda been our weak point. It's hard to expand your reach.
My copy of Rogue Dungeon 2nd Edition just arrived today, and it's 100% because you brought the game to my attention, Daniel my friend. Can't wait to open the box and dig into this solo crawl. Surprisingly heavy weight beefy feel to this small box of adventure
Your channel is dangerous. It's costing me money. I wasn't aware of this, but it looks great, and I popped an order in earlier today. It appears I was lucky as I've received a shipping notice.
Yet to play, but having unpacked and looked through it I was also struck by the production quality. The cards feel amazing - excellent resolution, great satin finish, and snappy.
I saw this (1st ed) used last week in Minneapolis for dirt cheap. Thought to myself "why is this such a steal" and promptly snatched it up. Now I know why!
Backed it, got it, love it. My only wishes are: 1. Double layered boards. 2. Little larger height of the box to fit sleeved cards. Gonna make a 3d insert for printing soon and publish for free on thingiverse...
I can say that reminds the old school gamebooks...so I was lucky to find it in Greece, where I am living. I have ordered it and I can't wait to put it on table. Thanks for the video.

It looks interesting but I am actually interested in the longer and more complex campaign games, in contrast to your assumption about your viewers. I don’t mind a shorter dungeon crawler occasionally, but I enjoy far more the immersive game which keeps me progressing for days at a time.

EU orders are DDP. No hassle on your end, all fees included in our shipping prices. But unfortunately, it is sold out at the moment. We are mulling to do another print run which will take ~3 months to reach distribution.
This was heavily debated during the KS. With the art updates on the card backs, there wasn't a feasible way for this to work without maintaining 2 versions of the game, which we don't want. Also, we priced out what that extra content would cost on TheGameCrafter for 1st Ed backers and it was ~$40 anyway.
So seems like the board game industry is going the route of making 25 total copies for streamers and youtubers and the rest of us wait for months and years or never get it at all. Seems like a great business model!!!😂
