This is the most absolute GOD TIER DIY toolbox I have seen on the entirety of youtube and i have been watching nothing but tool box tours for the last couple weeks. Very well done SIr.
Gotta say this video was extremely useful, I want to get into the industry once I get out of the Airforce and I’m starting to slowly collect tools. Lots of little tools here and there i didn’t even think of!
Also gotta say, it’s very refreshing to see a box tour where everything isn’t matco or snap on and using tools I can comfortably afford and not have a snap on tool box that costs more then all my cars combined!
You have an impressive collection of tools! You can’t beat US General tool boxes, they’re built like a tank! All of our engine builders/mechanics have them! Our boss has 7 of em in different sizes! Very cool video! I’ll share this on our Facebook pages!
Very nice set of tools. I'm just the same with whatever works for me. I don't necessarily always buy the high end tools, but more of the affordable ones, and they've worked great for me all these years also.
Just missing an Easy Red 1/4" and bit driver ratchet. I got the Bluepoint version, it works great for those tight places. Toyota oil cooler lines and holding the threaded rod on shock absorbers.
How do you like the US General 72”, I have the 5 drawer service cart and so far so good, but I’m a weekend warrior with a lot of tools. I’ve out grown my Craftsman 41” top middle and bottom and could definitely fill that thing ! Lol
Price would be the main reason. I don't find that the US General box has any major construction flaws. It works great and holds a lot of tools. I believe the ICON is deeper and it has a more desirable drawer layout but I wouldn't say it justifies the price

Lovely set up.Looks neat and adequate.
Great stuff. Independent mechanics usually rock whatever works, glad to see the selection
Sweet set up, love it!!!

I like what you said about your pullers, "Other People Brake them not Really too often myself" I have the same issues when lending tools..
Just a correction - brake means to stop, break means to snap in two. I know, English is so difficult.
I got the same exact set but holy Christ you put my toys to shame and I thought I had a lot of tools lol. Very nice set up sir
As a former licensed motor vehicle dealer, I think you have a very nice setup. Very usable, but not breaking the bank (& your business).
Very cool, I subscribed, Brother!
This is the dream.

Nice setup 🔧
That’s a nice set up you have!!
Nice set
Nice to know your not brand loyal. Seems you have what works for you.
You master man 👍

What kind of rails are you using for your sockets? They look like the matco or wright rails
Harbor Freight for majority of the rails. They are cheap and work great. A few are the Matco and Mac.
Any reason to go with that box instead of the Icon box besides price?

How much did everything cost?
Probably around 10K-15K in the box. Shop equipment is probably about the same added on top of that

@@MasonCramerDon't mind the trolls. They've never soiled their hands with more than sweat on their keyboards.
I dont understand how we live in 2023 and some people still have a potato camera on youtube.
The Trump sticker ruined it for me. How embarrassing
This comment didn't age well. 😂
