Japan Tourism: Mountain of Autumn Leaves Praised as "God's Carpet"

Mt. Kurikoma is also known as one of the 100 famous mountains for flowers, and is home to 150 species of alpine plants, some of the best mountain autumn leaves in Japan, primeval forests of mountain zelkova trees, and charming hot springs, making it a spectacular destination that attracts many people throughout the year. Kyuya Fukada, author of "Japan's 100 Famous Mountains," reminisced that "Mt. Kurikoma should have been included in the 100 famous mountains."
This time, we will go to worship the "God's Carpet."
