How We Find Apartments and Accommodations for Early Retirement Long-Term, Slow Travel

We've been seeing a lot of questions on how to find accommodations and short term rentals, without relying on some of the bigger name sites. As slow travelers often staying in places for a month or more, there are lots of ways we look for places to rent. There is no one way that works for everything. We've stayed in furnished apartments, hotels, hostels, and everything in between. So we'll go through some of the methods we use to find places to stay while we're traveling.
