Best video on UA-cam explaining how to use a HDMI Matrix device and capture cards. It's really helped me understand how they work and the best one to get. I've purchased a EZCOO EZ-MAX42pro-HAS but am having problems getting audio on my elgato HD60S+ from output HDMI B. I'm sure I've tried all the settings but may be missing something so any help would be appreciated. Thanks again for a great, very informative video.

Elgato is notorious for having audio capture issues.
You may need to set the audio up correctly in OBS to capture.
Is output A working alright for audio?
Maybe just use A out for the capture card if that works alright and use B out to the tv/monitor.
B OUT is supposed to be the main output for your monitor/TV anyway.
My long term recommendation is to get an avermedia capture card and ditch elgato and their driver/software seems to cause issues that never happen with avermedia

    Thanks, highly informative!
Question: I have a 4x4 matrix switcher with optical and earphone analog output. How do I route my preferred HDMI input (A, B, C or D) to the audio output?

If it's the one linked in the video, then the jacks will have a label that matched the output HDMI. One will be 'A' and one will be 'B'.
You use the buttons on the matrix or the remote to set the input to whatever source for either and the jacks audio output will match the HDMI output.
The inputs are numbered 1,2,3,4. So if output A is on input 2, the audio jack A will have audio from input 2.
Given that you said you have a 4x4, I have no idea how it's setup for audio. Most don't have audio, so I would need to know the brand. Most that do have audio extraction, have a headphone jack on each output and you would have to plug into the output you want to grab audio from and set the input for that jack, much the same.

Is this what I would need to hook up 2 tvs to one sound bar? Being able to switch audio back and forth? There’s an arc and optical on my soundbar but it just goes straight to arc.. help please
