  • In this episode of Blazor Train, we’ll compare the two hosting models: Blazor Server and Blazor WebAssembly. We’ll create an app using each model, and watch the network traffic in the browser. We’ll talk about the maximum number of concurrent clients a Blazor Server app can handle, and how to scale it to meet demands. Most importantly, we’ll weigh the pros and cons of each hosting model, so you can start thinking about which is appropriate for your next application.

    This is fantastic content. Having someone who understands whats happening under the hood explain it to me so clearly is a welcome change from "tutorial" channels that just dump the documentation on you in video. Thank you, Carl.

    Thank you so much for this! The information you gave regarding the scalability and performance of server-side Blazor just saved my day. Additionally, the whole series is really well done and I appreciate that you've added some of your music to code by as background music.

      What a coincidence the two of you signed up for UA-cam accounts on the same day.
      People these are Chinese hacker bots, do not use anything they say.

    I love these train rides with Conductor Carl. Wait a second, he is the Conductor isn't he? He didn't just steal the Conductor's hat and break into the Engine car?

    Great content! Thanks a lot! I have a question... what's the best way to deal with connection lost from the client's browser (when idle) in the Blazor Server model?

    WOuldnt be better, if using blazor wasam, to use a net core web api project instead of a blazor server project?

    Hi Carl nice Series on Blazor so far.. Short question the Server which hosting the Blazor Server App must be a MS-Server or not ?

    • @hargj134
      @hargj134 4 роки тому +1

      It does not. Blazor runs on .Net Core 3.1, which runs on Linux. A Blazor WASM app can also be run as a static site with no server backend.

    Would be nice to be able to cut the background music while demo is going on. Kinda noisy!

      I like the music. You may not know Carl’s history, he is a musician as well, he uses music to get you into a state of flow. He calls it music to code by. Sorry it is distractingly for you

      You'll be happy to know I stopped adding background music a few episodes ago, and that's the way it will be from now on. It's fine for most people but some really get bugged by it. Thanks for your feedback, and I hope you continue to watch the series. :)
