Regarding the gray dress that is too tight in the middle. Add a diamond shaped gusset from pit to mid hip. If you are out of fabric, black would look amazing also.

Hey there! it’s been two years now since I’ve started making my own clothes! It was really UA-cam University lol and lots of trail by fire! The cosplay community on YT are really good about doing in depth videos about their construction processes which helps a lot. I also like to buy old out of print sewing books (usually pretty cheap) on sewing (Nancy Zieman books are timeless!) those helped a lot with quick fitting and self drafting 😊

At the tender age of 45 I just bought a sewing machine and am learning (via YT and my mom) how to sew. You have some amazing pieces here. Id love to be able to be this creative one day. For now, just sewing handkerchiefs. 😂
