Poor lady! I’m so happy for her 2 babies 👶🏻 but can you imagine having 2 periods (plus cramps!) every freaking month? You’d spend a fortune on tampons! Dear Lord, bless her ♥️!
The girl who lived next door to my family when I was a child had two uteruses. I always thought how unique and unusual she was. Good to hear of someone else who has gone in to deliver two healthy babies.
I was watching a lecture here on youtube where a doctor was showing the most fascinating imaging studies she'd done on wombs. One was of a young woman who'd had a surgical abortion. Still testing pregnant, she found out that she had two uteruses: There was a healthy pregnancy in one, and the other was the one that had been emptied. The doctor said the patient took it as 'a sign from God' and would keep the baby.
My dad and his twin sister are two days apart ( they were born in 1957) . His sister was on the 27 and my dad the 29 . For true my grandma was a strong given there was no technology in a remote village in Africa
A few years ago, a pregnant woman in Bangladesh who also had two uteruses, and delivered one baby prematurely and one month later, gave birth to twins from the other uterus via c-section. One pregnancy, two wombs, three babies. Apparently, the clinic she went to sees a lot of women with didelphys. I wonder if regional genetics can influence that?
It happens in the womb of the mother from the child with the double womb. It not melts together in one but stays 2. My family didn’t hear it before so none in my family has the same condition. Also it’s different for all woman how it’s developed and how it works. 2 wombs 1 cervix or 2 wombs 2 cervix. Extremely rare 2 wombs 2 cervix and 2 vagina. Me 2 wombs 2 cervix 1 vagina 😉 only had my baby’s in the same womb (2004 and 2010 and 1 Angel 2023)
Yes its not very rare but not all story’s come to the news 😅 my daughter is 19 now born in 2004 and I have 2 wombs and 2 cervix. I know a woman from school and she had the same. Only the difference is how it’s developed and how it works. 2 womb with 1 cervix is a more problem than 2 womb and 2 cervix.
At least she's doesn't need to go through pregnancy another nine months. 2 for the price of 1. She's in a special situation of 2 babies being born a day apart.
Wow! What a wonderful and unique way to come into this world! Congratulations to all…the new parents and the team that helped with the deliveries. Are these babies considered twins, or siblings born a day apart? This is an amazing story!
How wonderful! I'm so glad this is reported in the news as it is GREAT NEWS! Aren't our bodies amazing! Many congrats to the family and all the very best. 😍

My uncle's wife had 2 uteruses and vaginas, 2 whole genital sets, they eventually figured out as they went along, first marriage and sex, then pregnancy, etc. The doctors wanted to put her in a medical journal, she said, no!. My uncle had been in the army and there was an accident. And so he only had one testicle. They had 4 living kids eventually together.
Love to hear success stories like this❤️. I also have a rare uterine abnormality, called a Unicornuate Uterus. From the same family of congenital abnormalities as hers. Basically, I only have half a uterus. Against the odds, I had 2 healthy pregnancies, although both kids were born premature. I had c-sections due to breach presentation.
This is amazing! My mother-in-law had a divided uterus. She learned that when she had to have a hysterectomy. My husband is the youngest of her 4 sons and he was her largest baby at just over 4 pounds. He and his siblings are all miracles. Born between 1956 and 1960….all premature births.
Congratulations. This is SO rare BUT not unheard of. Good job, mama, this was TOUGH. Now, to gloat....I had two children 18 months apart. One 8.5 pounds and one 10.8 pounds. I had 8 hours of labor TOTAL for BOTH OF THEM. The 10.8 pound one turned into a 6' 9", 250 pound teenager!
Double success!!! Beautiful parents, beautiful babies! Two separate birthdays, isn't it fair! Mom has passed the test of her life! Congratulations❤❤❤!!!
You can get twins born on different days. My twin granddaughters were born on separate days. One was born at 11.55 pm. and the other at 12.05 am. The 10minate different makes them a day apart ❤
Congrats to the mother. I’m surprised however that she was able to have 2 babies without any complications. I have the same thing except my uterus just has a wall down the middle and the second cervix is off to the side and not properly developed. It runs in my family and I have a few family members that have this with different variations in how the uterus is split. It’s not really that rare except having 2 separate reproductive systems is rare. For most in my family the wall had to be removed to allow room for a fetus to grow. My cousins who had children miscarried multiple times until the issue was found and fixed. I only found out about mine because I have endometriosis and they saw it in an MRI. I was quite surprised when I found this out and I am likely going to have it removed due to heavy bleeding problems and the endometriosis.
I have it to but all works, I have one vagina but the rest is dubbel. They say in the belly of the mother the 2 sides didn’t become one and stayed 2. Some woman do have dubbel vagina openings. I don’t know more in my family with it. My both kids were in the same uteri’s

This is so amazing! Wondering if they were at term? And reporting the mom had previous pregnancies, when did she find out about the two uteri? Congenital momma!
According to those healthy weights of both babies, seems very close to full term. I wish they had given details of previous pregnancy, obviously only singular at that time.
@@AnneCaulder maybe it’s her first pregnancy. The baby’s are full term because they are not small baby’s. I didn’t get 2 baby’s the same time but 1 and she came with 38 weeks and was almost 3000 gram and my son 6 years later 39 weeks 2900 gram. A friend from school has the same. And lost one baby in the other womb than her other 2 kids and she lost the baby and the side of the womb because it was to small and broke. It’s how the womb is developed and how big is the womb side for growing. This lady is blessed she has 2 healthy baby’s and she is okay to.
@benbanta2913 Identical twins come from the same fertilized egg that split, but fraternal twins come from two different fertilized eggs, so they'd probably be considered fraternal twins.
I wonder if they removed one of the uteri after the second birth so the mom doesn't have to go through double periods anymore. That's got to be a major burden.
I think when you don’t know other than what you experienced it’s normal. You can take birth controle to controle the periods but to take one out for a period 🤨 that’s extreme. Sometimes my period is like contractions but I never thought about removing a uteri’s.
I think this is the first recorded case of this ever happening. In most women with more than one womb, the sperm gets so split up there's no fertilization
