Many objects in rusty lake's and darkdome's games look the same, like the owls and the corrupted souls (also some of the furniture and art style overall). Also the animal of choice being an owl is certainly interesting since "owls are not what they seem". I was curious about it throughout my whole gamepaly.

Ok so when you grab the binoculars look outside totem and there will be symbols on the trees. A paw for wolf A scratch for tiger A squiggle for snake and A set of wings for the owl Each symbol will have a different hight and that is where they go on the totem. Sorry if that's a bad explanation

they did this on purpose to open a line of plot for the possibility of continuation of the story...
