I will be shooting this tomorrow night. Looks clear and Venus will be extended out as if it is an extension of the sauce pan handle. 👍👍 Great video as usual. My lad lives away from me and we watch the ISS whilst on the phone together 😍
A disjointed video was exactly what I needed. Multiple projects, all at once. I really enjoyed the ISS video. I never grow tired of going out in my yard to see it pass whenever I get the chance. Another quality and entertaining post!
You don’t get tired watching a bright light fly over. While you fantasy brain fills in the rest? Because someone on a screen told you so. You actually believe. My sympathies go out to you. There is lots of help out there for people like yourself these DAZE. I hope you find a greater purpose for yourself one day 🙏🏼 Do you watch the Nordic Santa tracker or the ISS tracker? 🤔
Three rigs at one time! You make it all look so easy. I appreciate your commitment to quality and at the same time engaging with us out here. Keep it up.
Another stellar video! Kudos to you for still being able to get out and celebrate this incredible hobby (and share it with us) during this difficult time.
I think it may have been sinus issues or something, because when I heard him say it the first time it sounded like "anus", but I went back and played it again and it _was_ in fact "Venus". I was thinking at first, though, "You mean there's another planet like Uranus?!
Wow that was an amazing shot. I love shots like these. You don't often get the opportunity to capture objects like these in one frame. It makes it that more special.
That was along ISS Pass. Thanks so much for sharing this. It was amazing. I was out for awhile last night but not with the camera. I was hoping to shoot it tonight so I will pray we don't get the rain they were talking about.
Amazing shot of Venus/Pleiades Trevor. The ISS never fails to impress me! I remember the very first time i spotted it years ago and i was convinced a UFO was heading straight for my City! lol! Best Wishes from UK to Canada my friend! Wes, Liverpool, England ( Bortle 8 )
Adding custom landscape to Stellarium is so useful! I managed to do this with mobile version as well, it required me to get the APK file from my phone, modify the necessary files and resign the APK with a Java keytool. It was kinda tricky but works well.
STEVEN LS I haven’t been able to use it too muck because of cloudy skies, but i had some clear nights and I saw Pleiades, m42, and Venus. They looked spectacular. I have only been able to see Jupiter and Saturn once, and that was very rushed because I had to wake up in the morning and my alarm woke me up late. It looks like I have a clear morning tomorrow so I will tell you how Jupiter mars and Saturn are.
I dont mind clouds when they add a dramatic effect. I saw the space station go over, third time this year, was able to get my wife to see it too, amazing. Nice video Trevor
I looked at this on Friday night through my Celestron ED80 and Venus was annoyingly bright enough to wash out most of the dimmer stars in the cluster. Very nice photos that you took, thank you for sharing.
I enjoyed you setting up for the observing session. I am a pre-Sputnik amateur astronomer & still get pleasure from the night sky. Handheld iPhone pictures through my 10" Dob & skyscapes are the most of my photography but I have notebooks & drawings as my way of capturing what I see. I live in eastern Massachusetts. Clear skies to you & your incredibly supportive wife!
Great video, managed to get a picture myself. It is eerily quite outside at night at the moment with the lockdown and no planes! Keep these great videos coming!
Well done! I’ve been clouded over for a month, and last night I got lucky, finally got to use my new CGX and ASI 178MM. The moon was gorgeous. Great shots of Venus, Pleiades and the ISS. Keep up the good work! (PS you stole my idea of making a video of the spouse answering astro questions! Great minds think alike! :D) Clear skies!
I fotographed that event too now.Thats my first photo of an astronomical event! Thank you because I love you you were my motivation! Thank you so much again
Hey Trevor, just getting into some astrophotography and found your website & youtube channel. Used your settings and took a great timelapse of the night sky last night, turned out amazing. I'm in Eastern Ontario in the middle of nowheresville and zero light pollution. Ha. I look forward to taking some excellent night pics. All I have right now is a Canon T5I and a timelapse thingy, but I'll try my best. Thanks and keep the videos coming. New sub btw also ;)
Trevor I really enjoyed your disjointed video. It's nice to see variety. Glad you got clear skies on the second night. Well worth the wait. And Ashley corrected you nine out of 10 haha.
Great video Trevor. I'm in StC as well, and those Wednesday night clouds were a huge bummer. It sucks when the clear sky chart shows everything near perfect, but clouds come out of no where. At least last night was clear!
Great Job Trevor!!! The ISS is a near and dear to me type of target! I, being a ham have talked to the astronauts on the ISS, twice. I do have confirmation of those chats! A great target indeed. I love the work you do and has an amature astronomer you have inspired me to try astrophotography. Thanks for sharing! p.s. your dear wife went 9 for 10 LOL. Keep up the great work I'll be following Trevor. JP
Why don’t you start with planetary astrophotography, Trevor? It would be nice to see some images and information coming from an experienced guy like you
I absolutely love your video, great explanation, great images, great music. Due to lockdown in France, I miss my meeting in a future dark sky reserve in the center of France (Bortle 2) and a trip to the sea to take pictures of the milky way. but your video is my way to escape during the lockdown. THANK YOU
As always Trevor, I enjoy your videos. I have an ISS app on my phone and it alerts me 5 minutes in advance when there is a fly over. Living here in western Pennsylvania, I get to see it fly by alot (sometimes twice an evening). Always impressive.
Always great to see the ISS go overhead! I miss seeing MIR going over back in the day. It wasn't as bright but still really cool to see. Stay safe all.
Suggestion for the heck of it... shoot/video the geostationary satellites against the background stars.... it way cool. They just sit there while the stars in the background move.
I love your videos, hopefully one day I'll be able to get some sort of set up. I can only use the astrophotography mode on my Pixel 4 for now. Your videos are really awesome!
Captivating video, I really enjoyed it! I was shooting Venus/M45 from a fixed tripod a while ago, but I messed up the focus so needed to go back out lol It's not as nice as your shot but pleased to have captured a special moment :)
Man oh man. I was out observing that last night too. I bummed I'm barely getting into this so I'm not fully set up for astrophotography yet. Great pic man.
I hope you guys enjoyed that ISS pass as much as I did!!
Have you ever tried or want to try photographing the ISS??
That was amazing !
You missed the second pass by Venus at 10. Great video's you do.
@@robertbilbey1200 Can be done but you have to do right over head for best view. Focus is the bitch part.
@@robertbilbey1200 No!! I want to some day!
Very cool Trevor! The ISS! Thanks for sharing!
ISS is very bright object on the night sky, love to watch it.
First video of yours that I watched and boy did I love it. Beautiful work.

Look at him spewing out quality content! They said quality over quantity, but you said *why not both*? I love this. Keep it up!!
Really appreciate that Ivo!
So glad ive found someone who gets as excited as i do when the ISS passes over !
Venus and the Pleiades and the ISS !!! Trevor , you are the best !!! Amazing !!
Very cool!
Thanks, Chuck - and good morning! ☕

How could anyone dislike this video? Great job per usual, Trev.
One day, we might photograph Venus *from Venus*
We have done that
"THE EXOPLANETS CHANNEL" >_

Great shot of the 2nd night of the planet and cluster together! Picture perfect! Thanks for another vid, Trevor. Helping us all get through this!
The auto generated subtitles say "And there's anus, look how bright it is."
Good job UA-cam. You nailed it. Haha.
lol
Oh no..
i had to put subtitles on to check, and um yeah good job youtube🤣🤣
I didn't open the subtitles but when he said that sentence I was like "Anus???"

Absolutely. THank you! This conjunction only happens every 8 years! I wonder where we'll be for the next one?
Yea I've tried hard but I cannot do it like this man
That is a Killer Shot. We never take the time to mess with planets but that shot actually strikes an emotion. Really Cool. Sean
Perpetual clouds in my neck of the woods. Really nice shots as usual.
Super cool shot of the ISS pass. Wish it got high enough up north here to see regularly.
