    • @tastymealsandtreats
      @tastymealsandtreats  3 роки тому

      Keep them refrigerated. You can always remove half an hour before having them when its room temperature again. Leaving it out will soften the whipped cream ❤

      Thank you for watching Afsana! The Doughnuts are fresh for up to 3 days. Store them in the refrigerator to keep the whipping cream fresh and firm, and remove the doughnuts an hour or so before having them, at room temperature! ❤️

    What temp should the oil be? 140-150? And how much did each of your dough weighs roughly

    • @tastymealsandtreats
      @tastymealsandtreats  3 роки тому +1

      The temperature of the oil must not be too hot, the doughnut must fry slowly, so that the inside cooks properly, while the outside browns gradually. You will get about 20 doughnuts. Divide the dough into equal pieces, then shape! 😊 Thank you for watching! 👍

    Do you not knead the dough for 10 mins? Does it not need it

    • @tastymealsandtreats
      @tastymealsandtreats  3 роки тому +3

      Thank you for watching! 😊 The dough just needs a little kneading, after punching down (about 3 to 4 minutes) not necessary to overknead this recipe! ❤

  • @tinosaluoto9731
    @tinosaluoto9731 3 роки тому +1

    Hi, I forgot to add in the 60ml of sugar into my dough and only remembered after I kneaded it 🥲 how can I fix this? Can i gradually knead it in or can I do something like mix it into water to help dissolve it in and then mix it into the dough slowly?

    • @tastymealsandtreats
      @tastymealsandtreats  3 роки тому +1

      I suggest you leave it without the sugar. Just coat with a little extra castor sugar after frying, and make your whipped cream a little sweeter to add sweetness to the doughnut. Dont forget to fry them slowly, so they cook through properly. 🌷

    The doughnuts took in a lot of oil. Not impressed with this recipe.

    • @tastymealsandtreats
      @tastymealsandtreats  11 місяців тому +1

      I’m sorry to hear that @naheedahcassim! These doughnuts don’t normally absorb oil. Perhaps the temperature of the oil was too low, which caused excessive oil to be absorbed into the doughnuts!
