You and ChessPage 1 make life worth living for, man. Love your channel, as I just found it 20mins ago. Watching your 3min vids make me feel like Neo downloading kung-fu into his brain in seconds.
Started picking up the Dutch - stumbled on to this video, and laughed my arse off. Wildly entertaining and useful. Now I have to check the rest of your channel out. I need more. Brilliant!
This is actually genius, I win games in rapid with the Leningrad, but lose in Blitz on lower level. I started to look for arguments why I should stick to the Leningrad and this video gave all the answers. Now it´s time to study it more and practice.
Your videos are so funny that I lose concentration and have to watch it again, because I can't stop laughing. "Hyper-aggressive king maneuver", ahahahhahaha :D
I’ve been looking for this exact video! The Leningrad Dutch looked like the only fun way to play against d4 lol glad to find a clear break down of how to play it
Your videos are a gem And i mean they are FLAWLESS Yes im part on the 0.1% and yes i just read all that text that you put 15m to type and i have no idea why i was still reading it
Biggest deviation that can fuck you up as a player who has only started learning the Dutch is the Staunton Gambit 1.d4 f5 2.e4. Really easy to lose games if you have no clue how to play against it. Anyway, love your content, and your narration style
I hate D4 players so much. They think they are different and special or something! It's great fun to beat them. Thank you for Benko video and now this!
2:22 Yes, that is Queen e7. I said it correctly, you just don't understand co-ordinates. You're failing to account for the fact that its a leap year this year, which means the co-ordinates ore di-stochastically pursed rather than parsed using a polar one:one logarithmic framework. Look, it's all quite complicated, but the bottom line is that it's pretty arrogant to think that I accidentally said "e7" instead of "c7", considering I'm the one with the fancy graphics supporting me. If that was the case, then you'd have to claim that I'm going to all this effort to type this message merely on the basis of defending a mistake that I know is a mistake, which is evidently ridiculous. In addition, the amount of effort it takes to write this would undoubtedly exceed the amount of effort required to re-record 0.3 seconds of audio, so how could it possibly be anything other than a legitimate effort to disambiguate a common misconception? Not only that, my sheer levels of self-awareness in anticipating that you may perceive this as being defensive attest further to the astonishing unlikelihood that I am trying to cover my ass for an obvious mistake. Now, I'm not saying that it is a mistake, but if it were (which it isn't), it would simply add to the charm of the video, It would serve as a little gem for my subscribers to uncover and feel as though they can perhaps one day reach the greatness possessed by their magnanimous teacher. That WOULD be the case if it were indeed a mistake, but I don't make such mistakes, and if I did, I would certainly not be so lazy as to avoid correcting them in the editing studio, and I CERTAINLY would not be so imbecilic to spend like fifteen minutes writing a paragraph that about 0.1% of the viewership will read instead of just fixing the error. Are you starting to see just how ridiculous the notion that my referring to c7 as e7 was a mistake? I could hardly make it any clearer than I have already, so you should return to the video with a renewed sense of humility and gratitude that you are able to witness this flawless (and yes, I mean literally flawless, including the characteristic of lacking errors such as confusing the letter c with the letter e) content for free. It wasn't a mistake. I'm serious. I don't have to explain myself to you. If I did, this would more than suffice as on explanation, but I don't. Why are you still reading this?
Damn great video sir!. I think black has to be a bit looney to play the Dutch as black, or the Kings Gambit as white. A sardonic dark humor definitely also helps. Whenever I lose the exchange, I chuckle and simply envision the wondrous lop-sided possibilities of the newly achieved positional imbalance. A Dutch player's mantra. White: "OK, go weaken your King with 1...f5, I will expand greatly on the Queenside" Black: "I will hurl my very soul against your Kingside and stuff my pawns down your gullet". I do not fear the unknown. A draw is death.
Hyper aggressive king maneuver looked suss. But went for it and it's essentially irrefutable except maybe at SGM level. Don't take my word for it. Prove it for yourself. Brilliant stuff.
I adore that video style 😂❤️ I just find the opening unnecessarily confusing and breaking lots of principles that I myself don't always manage to follow :)
That’s funniest chess video I’ve ever seen. And full of tips too. Magic. I’m even inspired to start an unnecessary argument in the comments to boost the algorithm for you. Cheers.
I agree with your feeling about d4 players. It feels like they are choking you as black and it is horrible. The Benko and Dutch offer black a chance to breathe again. Anyway that is what d4 feels like for me as black.
Hope you get a bigger following so more people discover the joy of how "frequent" you upload.
Thanks dude. I used to play the Old Benoni defence and lose after 15 moves but now I have another opening and can lose after 20 moves instead!
That's the Dream.
I hate to be that guy... So I'm not going to be that guy
Z❤№2❤X
I have been using the dutch for 6 months now. I started at exactly 1400. currently 1574 rapid.
Need more content like this. Learning chess like this is so damned fun.
"You'll arrive at this position 99% of the time"... In my last 100 or so blitz games white played those moves max 1 time
Most of the d4 repertoires for white go 2.Bg5 or 2.Nc3.
The word immediately following the 100 or so explains it
“You might not win, but at least it won’t be a fucking draw” those are truly words to live by
please, NEVER STOP UPLOADING!!!! your videos are insanely entertaining and helpful

Won my first game with the Dutch defence! Thank you so much for this video!
Started picking up the Dutch - stumbled on to this video, and laughed my arse off. Wildly entertaining and useful. Now I have to check the rest of your channel out. I need more. Brilliant!
The wall of text at 2:22 is hilarious
i slowed down the video just to stop it at that second to read
These chess videos are SUPER entertaining as well as informative.
Leaving a comment for supra-algorithmical gains
Needlessly ambiguous partial agreement: Change my mind!
These are my favorite videos, I’m so pleased you keep making them
This is actually genius, I win games in rapid with the Leningrad, but lose in Blitz on lower level. I started to look for arguments why I should stick to the Leningrad and this video gave all the answers. Now it´s time to study it more and practice.
How is this channel so small? This is gold.
You are the greatest opening teacher ever!
Thank you so much for this
Your videos are so funny that I lose concentration and have to watch it again, because I can't stop laughing. "Hyper-aggressive king maneuver", ahahahhahaha :D

I have returned to this video with a renewed sense of humility and gratitude.
I don't think I've ever subscribed to a channel this quickly before
Your videos are a gem
And i mean they are FLAWLESS
Yes im part on the 0.1% and yes i just read all that text that you put 15m to type and i have no idea why i was still reading it
Me too, that dude literally said e7 instead of c7😂😂
Concise informative and entertaining. Why can't all chess videos be like this. liked and subscribed.

I've played a billion games and not once has anyone played the Dutch against me. NOT ONCE
My man just turned a Dutch Defence into a Dutch game. Nice tutorial bro. U managed to explain 30 moves within 5 mins.
That was brilliant! I laughed A LOT when you talked about a draw and showed a picture of Anish Giri.
Instructions unclear. Sacrificed a rook for no reason and drew.
I'm part of the 0.1% my magnanimous teacher
Legendary as always!
"but at least it won't be a fucking draw" *dumb picture of Anish Giri*
im fucking crying
how was this so incredibly entertaining but also somehow really useful
I hate D4 players so much. They think they are different and special or something! It's great fun to beat them. Thank you for Benko video and now this!

Should let people pause it themselves.
@@darksideofdonny I put full stops to make myself sound more meaningful. 4:55
That C7-E7 paragraph was really well-written!
Now I want to go for this hyper aggressive king maneuver
This is the only chess video that made me laugh like I am watching a stand up comedy show! Keep up the laughing work.
I never felt a higher sense of humility than after taking way to much time in pausing the video at the right time and reading the text at 2:22
Manhattan gambit has entered the chat
My family disowned me after i started playing the dutch defense, thank you!
ur videos are sick subbed instantly
Instructive and funny as duck 🦆… if only all chess commentary was as good as this 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
"But you can barely resist day drinking" bro just absolutely slaughtered a random viewer
2:10 - I spit out my drink
'...and you'll be in a strong position' (picture of an over-muscled guy)--I blew coffee out my nose!
Damn great video sir!.

A lot of info and insults piled into 5 minutes... Excellent content!
Hyper aggressive king maneuver looked suss. But went for it and it's essentially irrefutable except maybe at SGM level. Don't take my word for it. Prove it for yourself. Brilliant stuff.
Love your descriptions man….so funny
I'm just disappointed how I didnt find this channel sooner 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
Thank you for the excellent video. I appreciate it!
Holly christ this is a masterpiece.
omg, the hyper aggressive multi-move king maneuver killed me. holy cow! I am dying. lol rofl
Informative and superlatively hilarious. I hereby award Ben S Chess a gold medal for Monumental Hilarity 👏😄
I adore that video style 😂❤️
I just find the opening unnecessarily confusing and breaking lots of principles that I myself don't always manage to follow :)
Dude, I have to put your speedy tutorial into slow-mo while I sit in my handicap parking space and munch my cheezitz
Perfect video , OK Ben..😀😀
The Alekhine's Defence is a great asymmetrical opening!
That’s funniest chess video I’ve ever seen. And full of tips too. Magic. I’m even inspired to start an unnecessary argument in the comments to boost the algorithm for you. Cheers.
You can barely resist day drinking 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The only defense where you see the king is officially unsafe, requires much of courage. Lol why do I have to push my pawns then immediately castle!
your content is addictive
I always love watching your videos as a crash course for an opening. Can you please teach the Trompowsky next?
Are we all just skipping that little gem of comedic genius at 2:22?
2:10 very excited to try the hyper aggressive king maneuver
Stereo VO. Silky smooth.
nice content dude. Just stopped by watching this during online exam and got a solid D
LMAO😂. “prostrate exam on a roller coaster”. Had to rewind after hearing that, as couldn’t stop laughing.
He's back!!!
Instruction unclear, now my king is at a7 on the 20th move in the game.
Best explanation on the dutch
I agree with your feeling about d4 players. It feels like they are choking you as black and it is horrible. The Benko and Dutch offer black a chance to breathe again. Anyway that is what d4 feels like for me as black.
black can't breathe
my lawyer advises me not to elaborate further
Funny as balls and I learned stuff. Top notch.
Nothing says “I have a plan” more than the Dutch.

Did anyone else hear c7 instead of e7 or just me? Ben doesn't make mistakes after all...
Nice bait
I cant tell if i have commented on this video before or not. Upload more often Benji S.
2:23 goddammit I read this stupid ahh message but I didn't even care and just thought you would put the theory behind that move into the background
diversion 3 being the staunton gambit which is just a longer line of moves but is equal
Thank you!! Could you make a video on the Smith Morra? 🙏
You are so funny haha
I enjoy these videos
Great video 👍
And remember guys, him saying e7 instead of c7 was NOT a mistake.
I just kind of want to hear your description of king's gambit. Idk

Chess and comedy in one video, excellent 🤣👏
I found someone who talks about chess faster than Levy.

Please do a Hyper Accelerated Dragon video!
When you read all the things he wrote
What do I do if my opponent has never seen f5 and just continues to do their london
2:22 was gold
I didn’t even notice the mistake
A lichess study with the variations would be really nice. Nice video though
Can we have a video on bertin gambit
Is it bad that my opponent don't even play the auto pilot maneuvers
