@@luisgaldamez8686 I believe you are incorrect. This is a Synergic machine. Let us know if you discover otherwise.

      You can turn off synergic...😊

@@DJREYSKI Yes, only to manually adjust the amps. You cannot adjust the wire speed.

On the Bestarc MIG 145 gen 9, you can turn off the synergic mode by pushing the knob in, which allows you to adjust the voltage and wire feed speed independently. This allows voltage to be adjusted from -3 to +3, allowing the wire speed to be adjusted without interfering with the amperage. However, in synergic mode, the machine automatically matches the recommended voltage and wire feed speed based on the selected amperage. I could be misunderstanding this but this was an AI response to the query.

Good review and I believe it answered my question. I want a welder in general to learn on but currently wanted one to repair my stainless steel exhaust. A flange on the pipe has broken away and i have a new piece I want to slip on over the old pipe and weld it on. I was looking at using the stainless steel flux core wire and read that wire works best with DCEP which this machine can do. But I guess the wire speed adjustment feature would be something I would like to have. I will probably pass on buying this machine.

Definitely get a machine with adjustable wire speed.

If it sounds like bacon... It's burning it in nicely. It'll just take some time using the unit more than a couple of beads to sort out where you can cheat it to build up material. Either way, it got down with stick... Burn a few rods to build up your material and then grab the gun if that's your thing.
I own one, nothing wrong with it. I'll have to push buttons to see if there's anything we can do for speed of filter though.

Which process? Will this be your first welder?

@@OldSoulMillennial I have a cheap HF 125 flux. What is the thickest metal you can weld with the Bestarc 145 with one pass and with multiple passes. I'm trying to weld bucket chain hooks on my tractor. Top of bucket is 1/4 " square tubing and the hooks are 1/2" thick and cut at a bevel where you weld. Tried 4 times with my welder and it wont hold. that is why I want to know if the Bestarc 145 will do the job??? Thank you.

As a mig welder, this model not having adjustable wire speed, I would not recommend it as a mig welder for your application. It Would do the job very well as a stick welder. This of course is dependent on your surface prep, and skill.

@@goldsbywashington3509 Prepping the surface well and pre-heating it may help, but that's a tall order for this small machine.
