  • If you know you've heard this name before but you can't exactly pin point why and you're the child of 80s and 90s the answer is; NBA Jam. But to be honest now, Mike was an AMAZING shooter and overall, very solid PG. He played just two seasons with the Mavs, who at that time were absolutely terrible. He averaged 10ppg during that time anyways. He could've had a similar career to Stevie Kerr if given a chance in my opinion.

He was one of the stars of italian league in second 90s and first 00s. We had Carlton Myers, Gregor Fucka, Sasha Djordevic, Pedrag Danilovic, Antonie Rigaudeau, Gianmarco Pozzecco, Andrea Meneghin, Henry Williams, Sale Rebraca, Mike Iuzzolino, Manu Ginobili, Alphonso Ford and Abdul Rauf.
Those years italian teams were the best in Euroleague and I feel lucky to have grown witnessing these legendary players battling in legendary games and playoffs series.
The problem is the feeling you have now when you try to watch some game and obviously the level is nowhere what it was.

@@pentolone82 davvero, non ho idea di come si possa essere interessati adesso quando all'epoca si aveva quel popò di roba, tra l'altro pure trasmessa costantemente in chiaro, anticipi del Sabato e serie playoffs.

You MUST know this about me, to understand where, when and HOW I grew up: I was born in 1973 in Seattle, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American and male. Here are some of my favorite Mike Yuzzolini highlights: In a 1991-92 Dallas at Portland game, Mike Tirico narrated these two highlights: Jerome Kersey, on the break. A little spin around move on Mike Yuzzolini and using the window! And then Porter posts up Yuzzolini, bumps Yuzzolini, and knocks it in." In garbage time, Dallas at New York in 1992-93, Bo Kimble got PT, "Bo Kimble, fakes out Yuzzolina, and hits the jumper." Then in 1992-93, Seattle at Dallas, Gary Payton drove, got fouled by Yuzzolini, made the basket, and Yuzzolini did this weird hand contortion to show disagreement. Later that game, Yuzzolini hit a 30 footer, but AFTER the buzzer. The ref waved it off, and Iuzzolini went bananas, protesting it. He was FIERY, for a guy who looks like that. In 1995-96, I asked my friend, "Where is Mike Yuzzolina playing," and my friend said, "Probably in Italy!"

A very good and very short NBA career. Mike was a really good shooter and passer. I wish he had a more century career. The video is very nice. Eddie Robinson or Jamison Brewer video coming?

Nice video. As a Mavs fan this is my first time hearing of him, he had some skill.

I always thought I had a false memory of a certain "Mussolini" playing for the Warriors back then. It may actually be THIS guy.
Really good highlight again. Upmost quality even for a short span.
    Who's next though? I'm excited.

Why was his career so short? I see that he only played two seasons avg 9 pts a game. That’s real solid and I don’t get how he only got two years

Worst team being Dallas at that time. But he could play so the question remains, why didn't get a chance? Great shooter, good passer.

I think he could have stayed in the nba had he wanted to, but he wanted to play in Italy anyway cos of his heritage, and in Italy I'm thinking he made more money. He was an mvp over there one year and won a couple championships. I get the vibe he was a #1 guy over there.
