I I stalled the E-07 on my on Rally Raid wheels and the front is a 19"wheel this on the 500X. Also on my AT. From riders that had the E-07 Dakars but they very stiff side walls and difficult to work with for repairs. I have 3000 miles on mine and wear is good. Wet paving is their short coming as the grip appears less.
Great tyres and by spring I think mine will be ready for a change! My bike also had front 19” but I showed 17” 😑 so I’ve added a comment in the notes 👍🏻
Got 2016 A/T and these mitas e07 are the best tyres that i have found, only thing i found is the front wears faster than the rear, great tyre. Have fun fixing a puncture on the trail if your tubed, practice makes perfect.
Good to hear some feedback John, it will be interesting to monitor them over time and with mine being tubeless shouldn’t be a problem 😆 I believe they are a pig to remove though?
I am running E07+ rear and E10 front on my AT. Came over from Karoo 3 which were great but wore quickly. I like the Mitas and checked a few reviews and went for the E10 front as on the trail are well planted. Took a few miles to bed in on the tarmac . The rear squirms a little in the rain on tarmac sometimes but not unnerving. Seem to be good in wet or dry but the AT does have loads of gizmos on it which probably compensate a little. Very good wear resistance tho.
Good to hear that Bob, mine are scrubbing in nicely and seem very planted on the road, taking into consideration the type of tyre...not had them on any tail yet but don’t doubt they’ll be good 👍🏻
Good to hear from you again. If I could wave a magic wand then I would magic up Avon Speedmaster tyres to fit on my NC750X. I cannot get used to the feel of the Battlaxs fitted at present and I do not need such soft grippy tyres for pootling along back lanes. I fondly remember my MZ250 fitted with Pneumant tryes which I found acceptable and lasted for years! It will be interesting to hear how these new tyres wear.

I’m enjoying them so far, and should be great for trails...also good on campsites as well. I’ll be doing reviews throughout the life of the tyres and should have a firm view of them by autumn as I intend getting out as much as possible as soon as we’re freeeee 😆

Great to hear from you! Ever consider changing your own tires? I am considering it, but haven’t tried it yet. Labor here is about $50 per tire and up. So that adds up. On another note, I got my first covid vaccine shot this week. Yay!
Indeed I did! But I notice many people, especially those in rural areas, have not. Tere is a large population here that is either ignorant of the science or simply refuse to do anything the government asks. A real shame.
Numbers are rising across the country and the doctors say that 99% of those getting infected are the ones that chose not to get the vaccine. So hopefully the rest of the people will wise up and get the jab. Amazing how stupid or stubborn people can be. But the government is not re-instituting any of the precautions that have been relaxed for a while. That’s probably a mistake.

@@johncarroll8641 no rumbling under most conditions, possibly a little bit of noise when getting up towards 80mp h but I don’t really go much over 75 and it’s not that bad! I’ll be doing the 6k review on a trip this week, probably publish later in week or next 👍🏻
Hi Campbell, for use on the road just scrubbed them in over about 100 miles, like any tyre, but found them to work perfectly straight away and particularly on the trails so I didn’t need the 1000kms to get the benefits 👍🏻
Like any of these 50/50 type tyres you have to be a bit more careful, I just reduce speed and take more care on bends otherwise they’re as good as any other similar tyre I’ve had…also had it out in wintery sleet, snow and a bit of ice (very slowly) but very happy with them and just about to hit the 6k review 😆
Hi Radu, not sure if tyre size is on our registration documents but it’s partly why I got them from Honda dealership, they had them on their system and no issues fitting so that would be my argument t with insurers 😂 Just out of interest I’ll have a look at reg doc when get chance 👍🏻

@@thecampingbiker791 All good, did the first dose of Pfizer. Semi-locked down, we are free to travel between 5-22. The hospitality industry had a lot to suffer, also people working there. Also, the kids are affected by this social gap, they need to be social and interact with other kids, a major turnaround from being left outside to play for hours and limited tv, now is just the opposite. Hope this vaccine will get things back to normal.

Yep, they look good and even though still running in, they feel brilliant (so far)...I’ll post a review once I’ve done a bit of mileage on them 👍🏻

No, they’re definitely on the right way...I even went and checked the rotation arrows before responding 😂 👍🏻

There fairly good on the road noise front, I’ve had TKCs on previous bikes and these Mitas are much quieter 👍🏻

Did you need a 1000kms or so on these before they worked? A lot of people say they need some miles on them before they work properly...???

It's legal in Uk to put tire sizes that are not in the vehicle registration documents?
