As great as this arc was, the show unfortunately disregards comic book continuity. Some issues were even retconned by future episodes. But hey at least we got the spiritual successor in Life’s a breeze.
What an emotionally perfect end to a perfectly fantastic story! the Reflections comics are absolute masterpieces and everyone did a simply brilliant job of dubbing them make no mistake about it! truly outstanding and divine work!!!

This story truly hits my heart, with the chuckles, the secrets and just the sweet romance. Makes me wish that this story really was canon (though Celestia had mention of her great power). And your epilogue really helps end the story better.

This is the first comic I read that actually got me hooked on the B-canon stuff. I started reading the comic series from chapter 1 and it was all pretty good, a lot of passion clearly went into each arc (even though it would never get to see the screen) but Reflections was the first solid 10 all the way throughout. It gave Celestia so much depth and it did the mirror world stuff better than EQG imo. The stuff they did with Star Swirl was also way better than what they did in the show, I liked how competent Star Swirl was throughout this. He was an eccentric genius (like Pinkie), who had a lot of fun moments, but he got serious when the time came and it never felt cheesy or uncalled for. I mean, Celestia messed up (understatement, she almost did more damage than all the EQG villains combined) but she was desperate and lonely (it didn't start that way, which I also liked. Sombra didn't start as a crutch but he helped her when she needed it). It also gave us a lot of context for how Celestia coped with sending Luna to the moon. Something the show sort of just told but didn't show. The parallels were nice, the writing had you on your toes, the themes (like the garden) were well done, there was a lot of world building (not just with the mirror but also with what it was like 1000 years ago with Star Swirl). it was even funny/had fan service (Luna playing board games, Star Swirl's hat, Twilight's classic reactions). It was also a beautiful story which then became so tragic in the end but reasonably so. It had everything I love about MLP and more. The only thing I genuinely didn't like was how Discord had an alternate form, but that's just a background detail so nothing against the actual writing. I actually like how sad it ended, thematically it made so much more sense than Celestia going back and having a family. The number of highs and lows in this comic is nuts, that "Let the sun shine through" part from the alternate Princesses gave me chills. Sombra's selflessness, Alternate Celestia and Luna's parallels and reformation, some great stuff. it was satisfying even though it was sad since it was for the greater good. Idk, I didn't really like the Epilogue for that reason (it kind of undermines the value of Sombra's sacrifice) but I get why people wanted a follow up, I do too but not like this.
I'm confused if sombra turned himself evil and the other luna and celestia became good wouldn't the mane 6 and celestia and luna become the other mane 6 and luna and celestia and wouldn't the whole equestria become the other equestria again?😀
You should really print out this story for a comic. Or at least let us print them out! In the future if MLP makes Gen 4 Episodes again this should be made one, it's that good!!!

I wish that this is what happened in season 9 instead. The direction that they chose for the series to end all of a sudden felt bittersweet.
