    Hmm... last 2 videos were pretty surface level lore. We know what that means, next video will be a super obscure Daggerfall Era story with pretty neat implications.

      Might be surface level but the dark elves are just so darn cool

    While Azura's anger at the tribunal is understandable, it does seem excessive to curse the entire Dunmer race. Then again, she really couldn't do anything against the Tribunal directly; but it's a bit rude to continue the curse after the events of ESIII.
    Azura may be the most benevolent of the Daedra, but she indeed has quite the temperament.
    Though the Dunmer keeping their appearances is understandable for out-of-universe gameplay reasons.

      What if Azura's actions wasn't actually the cause but just a myth?

    I love this channel, you explain the elder scrolls lore better than anyone else. I often go in skyrim or oblivion, pick up some interesting books and find a spot to sit in a tavern and read them. I recently read Calcemo's "Dwarves V1, Dwarves V2 and Dwarves V3" the books in oblivion and Skyrim are not read as much as they should be, which is a damn shame.

    basically, the dunmer were cursed, but they became super hot because of it.

    I'd have to say the Chimer should've known something like that was bound to occur sooner or later when they willingly entangled themselves with the capricious temperaments of daedra. But what do I know, I'm Altmer biased in this conflict after all.

    Or the elves just change to adapt to their environments. Snow elves, wood elves, the Dwemmer, the sea elves and, perhaps the volcano elves too. I'm half convinced that orcs are just goblin versions of the Bretons, half elves, half goblins, all orc!

    Wait, I thought the dark elves were changed because they promised to save the snow elves and the dwemer. They didn't hold up this part of the bargain. I'm so confused.

    • @Lukas7360
      @Lukas7360 2 роки тому +2

      highly likely some form of nedic language that was used in the central Tamriel back when Aylieds ruled over.

      Nedes were slaves so like pig latin they probably spoke a butchered Ayleid langauge we can call Pig Aldmeris, then they created the basis for Cyrodilic which probably got improved or interfused with Akaviri.

    I still don't quite understand the God lore of Elder Scrolls. Azura is a daedra.. right? Not an aedra?
    And the aedra are pretty much gone and never ever spoke to anyone of the mortal realm.. right?

    • @ImperialKnowledge
      @ImperialKnowledge  Рік тому

      That is one theory, but in some games the aedra do have aspects which show themselves in the game. But almost every piece of aedric lore we have is unreliable narrator so its a very vague piece of the lore the whole debate on how much power the aedra still have
