Rainy England, d'n'b and doctor house in a camper :) . Nice VW !
Well done, nice job with that aluminium, shower area and van a big step up from the VW Florida
@G McC I didn't mention quality, I meant in terms of comfort and expectations for a camper nowadays.
Well done buddy .. Walt is looking good ... cheers Chris & Sam
Hate mastic in corners for the shower , Grossfillx do corner fixings that I would go with along with their tiling sheets
You know what - I bought some of that corner profile but there just wasn't space for it. Maybe I ordered too large a depth...
By how much will all materials for build affect vehicle weight limits/payload? Brilliant job and look forward to the launch vid!
Thanks. I've been as careful as I can about weight and may well up-rate the van back up to 4 tons after the build. Ply is all lightweight poplar
Walt is coming on really well. Is he going to be 2 berth or 4?
3! Double at the back, occasional single at the front
@@CampervanMan looking ace!
Great job, congrats, i saw you partly used the 80/20 Alu grane and partly the grane is made from plywood, what are your final considerationts / thoughts ? The frame is adding finally how much weight?
I ended up using the ali for structural strength where there was no need for wood. I wouldn't say that it has added weight, simply strength
Need an update...please?
Bless you. Bad news though - I managed to kill my external hard drive and lost hours of video ready to edit down and publish :( So there's a gap while I figure out what I need to re-film to fill the gap. Sorry! It's coming...
