    I have always thought this is an absolutely ridiculous song for grown men to sing. That is MY opinion.

      If you actually listen to the lyric you’ll hear in the intro that it’s a song they recall their mother singing. Many other songs follow a similar memory, An Irish Lullaby being one. The quartet states “Here’s a song from our childhood which we remember our mother sing” Then they go on to sing the song, not because they want to recreate their childhood but because they want to recreate the love they had for mom.
