If people cannot protest without targeting Jewish people or a school in general, then they should have been arrested for an unlawful assembly. I blame the police for not taking the action needed to stop this negative behavior. The protestors should be talking with local government leaders and not trying to get media attention. This like many other protests are less impactful because protestors don't have clue where to message or how to message the correct audience. A bunch of students in a library isn't going do much except push stereotypes and hate. Also, Gaza and the Palestine People have been under hardships for decades where were the Americans protesting that. Yes Gaza needs to be freed from the control of Hamas and then maybe Israel would treat them better, but targeting innocent American Jewish people is wrong. These so called protestors are just on the bandwagon of what is the new hot topic and have no real understanding of the situations like the guy with the heart shaped glasses and keffiyeh.

America has used negotiations, aid and financial support since the founding of Gaza to enable them to create a future. Arab nations do not aid the people, only Hamas; even Egypt closed the border because of terrorist. Money provided for hospitals and schools was redirected into building tunnels to attack innocent civilians. Citizens in Gaza, that have opposed Hamas, disappeared, families threatened or tortured. Terrorist are not resistance fighters; that is actually an insult to the French resistance who fought the Nazi. Protesters should form a delegation and head to the UN, not attacking students. Do you think they understand this causes more division and not a resolution?

Think protestors in the US are more focused on anti government rhetoric and use issues like this to cause problems. Like I said in my post where were these protestors for the decades of hardship the Palestine people suffered. Unfortunately, depending on the side you are on and the ideal you support terrorist and freedom fighter are interchangeable based on your beliefs. The A bombs killed between 129,000 and 226,000 people, most of whom were civilians in Japan. As far as who is funding Hamas I have no idea other than what the media speculates. I am sure the money going into the country is being mismanaged as the group in power in Gaza has a criminal mindset.
I believe there is a separation of Palestine civilians and Hamas and I think Israel is not trying to grasp that. The indiscriminate bombing of civilian targets on the media is proof. Entire building being destroyed yet the international community is just now speaking up about this and the US is slowing the invasion of Gaza by Israel.
I find it interesting that US troops are involved in this conflict and not directly with Russia( a nuclear superpower) and Ukraine.

The headline is misleading. The students locked themselves in the library for safety. When I read this, my first question was "locked in by whom"? The situation was tense, but they locked themselves in for safety, they were not locked in by someone else, as the headline implies.

In the past few weeks, Muslims and Arabs have poured into the streets in nearly every U.S. city to celebrate the slaughter of Israelis, while wearing scarves, keffiyehs and other clown outfits and waving the flags of Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Yemen, Turkey, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, and on and on.
It's so obvious that these people don't belong here that the immediate reaction of a number of politicians was to demand that their visas be revoked.
Question: Why are we importing millions of people from lesser cultures who will inevitably despise and resent the West for its very success?
This isn't the old They hate us for our freedoms! Rather, it is simply an acknowledgment of the fact that the most common and destructive human emotion is jealousy. People will brag about being gluttons, prideful, greedy, angry, lustful and lazy. The only venal sin no one will cop to is envy. That's how insidious it is.
Consider the "open letter" from 33 Harvard student groups blaming Israelis for their own slaughter. In addition to about a dozen Muslim and Arab groups, the letter was signed by clubs for immigrants from various locales notable for their high levels of corruption and leprosy.
Freshly installed and deeply unimpressive democrat Harvard president Claudine Gay (daughter of Haitian immigrants) issued a kumbaya statement in response to the bloodthirsty student letter, expressing sadness about both the 1,500 slaughtered Israelis AND "the war in Israel and Gaza now underway."
At this, billionaire donors to the university finally began to notice the insanity they've been funding. A couple of Israeli billionaires, Idan and Batia Ofer, quit Harvard's Kennedy School of Government board in protest. Another Jewish billionaire, Bill Ackman, demanded the names of the students behind the letter. Gentile -- and Republican! -- Ken Griffin (cumulative gifts to Harvard: more than $500 million) also raised a ruckus. The same thing happened at other institutions of higher learning.
The gleeful cheering for the mass murder of Israelis is only the latest expression of hate by inferior cultures toward the superior culture of the West -- of which the donors are a shining example.
And how did democrat Gay become the president of Harvard in the first place? Obviously, it was a rigorous competition -- just as it was for democrat Kamala Harris, Supreme Court Justice democrat Ketanji Brown Jackson and democrat Sen. Laphonza Butler.
Gay's "historic" appointment gave Harvard its first black democrat president! (Who could've seen that coming?)
The shocked Harvard alums might not even be admitted today, with their cisgender white privilege. The college's admissions office describes its job as "antiracism work."
But when the exact same people who hate our country turned out to hate Israel, too, our clueless elites were gobsmacked. Gee, where'd that come from? We thought you liked us.
Of course barbarians hate Israel! Surrounded by enemies, Jews transformed an unforgiving desert into a first-rate civilization. Did anyone imagine the Holocaust would temper the bitter jealousy? That's like heterosexual white coeds claiming to be "binary" to earn woke street cred. You're still pretty, and they still hate you.
The conflict is far larger than a few hundred disaffected immigrants, "colonized" and "indigenous" people cheering mass murder by invading paragliders.
This is an endemic problem. Israel can't do much about the neighborhood, but why on Earth is the U.S. importing preposterous foreigners from third-rate cultures? The failure of their ancestors to create anything worthwhile, certainly compared to the stupendous accomplishments of the West, is too glaringly obvious. Inviting millions upon millions of them here, to gawk at our magnificent civilization, is a guarantee of perpetual strife and resentment.
Instead of trampling on the free speech rights of people who hate the West, how about avoiding the problem altogether by leaving them where they are? They'll like it! Vastly fewer "white supremacists" to oppress them. They can hate us all they want. Just do it from their own countries!X!X!

I agree with the young lady on funding a war. But to protest like this does not send that message. A stop funding wars would be appropriate but not this. And, she did not mention Ukraine and all wars being funded. America needs to be an isolationist country until they can get their house in order.

"Try that in a small town" comes to mind. The saner segments of Western societies are going to have to make some difficult choices about whether and how not to be victims of those who have lost the capacity for rational thought and introspection and are thus prone to committing acts of violence.
