Thank you. It definitely will take some practice, but we are hoping in the end to create some nice plant effects with it.

    Good work.
I've seen a youtube video where the guy says for best effect you vacuum the grass 4 minutes after application.
By then the PVA holds the roots and makes the grass stand up better.
I've tried it with a cheap applicator and it definilty worked. Maybe not as important with a higher quality applicator though.
The video says that for 7mm or longer grass, vacuuming is a must.
Hope that adds some ideas and helps with experimentation.
    Happy Modelling

Thanks for the tip! We will try that on the next round with the vacuum.

Interesting, this is something I’ve never tried, well done!

Thank you! We still need a LOT of practice, but it does look better than the other stuff we have used. It's not as easy to get it to stand up straight we thought it would be.

@@TwoRailfans thanks John, there’s nothing prototypical or to scale on my layout, as good as the static grass looks, I’ll skip it for now, one day I may build a prototypical section on my layout and put this to use. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

@@TwoRailfans I don't know the name of mine I bought it back when I first started building a layout but don't use so much glue make the glue more flat and if your using the wax paper stuff you got to make sure it's getting the current threw it maybe use a gator clip on it that way it's getting into the paper it's self I would try it on the foam board first
