Great thoughts as always. For me being on set, working with a crew, the problem solving, and getting to use my gear out on location is extremely enjoyable. The camaraderie is great and it's nice being around like-minded people who understand when you ask for someone to fly in a 1/2 grid 4x4 on a shorty. On the editing side, switching over to Resolve rekindled my excitement for the task, but I still dread having to edit other people's footage and avoid it at all costs.

Thanks for sharing your story! Yes, editing other people’s footage is something I try to avoid too.
